  1. Great watch!!!! I think I might get me one of these Instead of creating a big hassle for yourself, Eddie, and the manufacturer, it may be good to just get a new dial and replace it yourself... See if he will pay for the dial swap by your own watchmaker.
  2. By simplified, I mean the standard UI, not the stuff (BSD) underneath... I understand that you can basically do anything you want with it like any unix box, but that's not it. I find the interface difficult to get around and the FS to be confusing to me (maybe because I am too used to what I've been mainly using for the last 20 years... Even if it come to the choice of a mac and a linux box, I'd even go for the linux box running gnome (or even better, enlightenment RIP), I find it easier than a mac, except of course, when you have to install off the wall drivers and apps I guess it comes down to what you're used to

  4. Great Neil... Are you going to carry the AP ROOs that George has?
  5. OK I'm sorry, but I haven't found Macs to be all that... My wife wanted one SOOOO bad I got her an iBook. Beautiful... well... er.... FORM FACTOR...LOL Other than that, I find the OS interface to be to simplified for my simple brain. What's so great about these things? I'll stick with buggy ol' windows any day having the choice. Don't use IE, no Outlook, any of that MS junk and I find it great. Makin money all day long on it, and thats ok by me.
  6. I don't believe no Guanghou report and doubt *most* of them are millionaires... But I reckon they make pretty good money ^^ Good for them, I would never be able to put up with all the [censored] and the risks they take!
  7. Don't fall for the artsy fartsy hype... It's just another pretty face with a mediocre feature set.
  8. Thanks guys Without RWG, all of you, and your inspiration, it would have never come to fruition!!
  9. Well it's been a pretty good and warm day here Felt like going slumming with a tool watch:
  10. scan the room with a magnet? Unless of course, it's SS... then yer f%#ked
  11. Just a few weeks ago, my wife started pausing the videos and calling me in to ask "What kind of watch is that person wearing"!!! I love her
  12. Try Drew at Europelli... He's a top guy and his straps are excellent price and quality, especially the Cordovans
  13. That's funny My wife points out the 'assets', but I end up looking at the watches, assets have taken second priorty now as I can't do anything with them anyway LOL
  14. Maybe so... I would have expected better from Sinn
  15. Well, topic says it all... The first watch I've bought with AR on both the inside and outside of the crystal reduces reflections very well... BUT, and this is a big BUTT, the crystal is now so hard to clean... It picks up every miniscule amount of dirt and smudge compared to my single sided AR watches. It is quite difficult to keep it clean. Having to get out the ol' eyeglass cloth, fog it up with my breath, and wipe several times like a pair of glasses, only to find more smudges minutes later. I would also think it would be easier to scratch being much less hard than sapphire For me, I'd be MUCH happier with single sided and live with the few extra reflections. Have any of you other guys found the same behavior with double AR coat? Is there a way to safely remove it to I can keep the crystal nice and shiny??
  16. Great watch and nice shots... I have an U1 and it is very good quality. That reminded me to wear mine today
  17. That really sucks Admin... I wouldn't give a second thought to sending it back. Good luck with the replacement.
  18. George is also offering both asian and swiss. The a7750 version should be just as good, the movement is not bad at all like the older 21,600 model. We need more dial variations, but this is a beauty
  19. yes... School of hard knocks... Haven't graduated quite yet
  20. PAM 089... what's so special 'bout this one
