  1. The trigger is now pulled!! Ultimate fiddy with superlume and swiss unitas 6497 swan neck. AND a Gunny 74 series strap to go hand in hand with it!!

Cost all in all 470$ with shipping. This watch will be my daily beater, and now I will put the lid on my crazy buying spree at the moment....

    Bought the last 14 days

Omega Seamaster Pro 300m Chrono Updated 7750 (keeper) 303$

Omega Seamaster Pro 300m Chrono Asian automatic (Bought & Sold) 170$

Omega Planet Ocean Ultimate with extra yellow leather strap and pressure testing 7Atm (keeper) 350 $

Tag Heuer Carrera 16 quartz (Bought & Sold) 128$

Ultimate fiddy & Gunny strap (keeper) 470$

All in all 1421$ subtract 350$ sold watches = 1071$

This has been a very expensive adventure so far :p

  2. I am now on the lookout for a Panerai (damn you guys, I did not even like Panerai before I joined here)

I am torn between the fiddy "ultimate" and the 111H "ultimate" . I have heard about fiddys exploding and stuff, so I am a bit on the fence.

I was wondering if I should buy a fiddy with normal strap (from the seller) Or if I should go the whole nine yards and just buy the head & pins of the 111H with pinion fix and superlume and add a Gunny 74 series strap..

I am looking for a SINGLE pam for my collection!

  3. HA!!!!! Amatory sent me the wrong watch..... They should have sent the quartz version of the SMP Crono. But they sent me the 7750 valjoux one 238$ (wrong bracelet though. PO one. but hey... I only paid 129$ for it!)

Selling it to a buddy of mine now for 190$. Easy money!! Guess the scam was one them this time :p

  4. I am waiting for my SMP 300M Red Dial. And I am wondering if there is any rep friendly smiths in Norway?

The Omega is going in my permanent collection so I would like to service it and keep it running "indefinitly" Also prices if you have any service spots :)

Did a search and there is not much information about my homecountry regarding this.

    Thanks guys!!

  5. I found a Tag Carerra wich I liked the quartz version of. Joshua has it on special for 128$ with shipping. If you compare it to the 278$ 7750 you will see sligh differences. I bought the quartz one. It even has shappire crystal *not mineral* The open backplate on the 7750 I dont need, im going to wear it back side down anyway :p

The quartz one also has incorrect subdials at 6 and 9.

  6. Hehe. Not in a bad way!

You have infected me with watch madness, have been here for just a few days and already I am emtying my bank account. Ordered a quartz SMP 300m *noobie mistake* Then I ordered a SMP 300m "upgraded 2008 model" A7750.

Now I have bought watch repair kit from eBay, watch winder, magnifing station and all kinds of stuff. I am actually on the way to buy a quartz THCarerra *With same case and bracelet as the A7750" Just want the quarts for minimal hazzle for daily wear. The A7750 will be in the winder fro occasions.

Well!! I am on my way to falling head first into this world, and I think I like it :)

Been reading about 21j movements A7750, Unitas, quartz, torbillon and so on for days on end. Cant wait to get my clammy hands on the reps. I have a couple of bad reps lying around that I will gut and se whats going on inside.. I actually think I have a Breitling fantasy watch with 21j automatic im gonna "kill" The other one is a Breitling Navitimer with quartz *So no bother in opening that, other than to see what makes it "tick"

So thanks in indroducing me into this expensive wonderful world guys.

The most weird thing is that I am disabled *not in a wheelchair* and sitting around at home all the time so I really have nowhere to go at certain times. So in theory I would not even need a watch!!

  7. I am a complete n00b and I wanted to read about the different movements of the reps we are buying. You who are seasoned might want to give me names of the different movements so I can collect links on the net about them so newcommers can get an introduction :)

  8. Hello everybody.

I am [censored] I did not think to look for this forum before I went and bought a replica from amatory *Have not received it but I am waiting* However the rep I ordered where a Omega Seamaster 300m Chrono. We will see how this playes out.

After reading this forum I found your dear friend Josh. I have now ordered a Seamaster from him. If the first rep I ordered is of ok quality and not to shabby I will hand it over to my dad *he does not care too much, he is wearing a watch he purchased in Turky for 20$* So atleast he will be satisfyed.

Too bad I am likely to loose 160$ on a shabby watch but n00bs usually [censored] up the first time around.

Have been reading around here about shipping, reviews, the "toy" stories and much more. I am SOO happy I found you guys :)

The reps I have from before have all been kinda shabby. I have a Breitling navitimer that doesent remotely look like it should, and a Breitling "hybrid" kinda looking thing. However the Navitimer have served me well for like 8-9 years now and I have changed the battery twice. Still running like a champ.

So Hi everybody, take good care of me please..
