  1. hi all

sorry for my noob question on the AP front, never in my loong years looked to that side of the watches.

But now i seem to crave for a AP ROO - am i now a grownup ?

i have few in my mind, but what comes to me as a big question is -

are they to be trusted, are they holding up, i mean, the @12 modification, is that do right so the movement is not jamming (only Bob marley should be jamming).

i  looking to buy either a grey theme, a volcano or a montauk highway.

but as i said i am a total newbee when it comes to AP's

  2. i got a Panerai 199 regatta i while back, and wanted to have a Panerai rubber strap for it.

So i found one in the member2member section, pm'ed him ,paid it and he shipped it.

I allways have my packages shipped to my work, as it is easier to get, rather than having to go to the post office to pick it up.

So now i was at work and at a meeting, when suddenly i got a mail on my mobile from one of my employes to me and the rest of my team stating - I have recieved your rubber strap on - WTF was my reaction ?????

so eagerly ending the meeting, i rushed back to my desk, where my team was laughing (have to tell that we have a very loose tone in the team, i could have done this aswell with my employees).

There on my desk, a package, with the text stating that the content was a "Rubber strap", but due to some dirt on the label, it looked abit like "Rubber strapon" - LOL

hastly unwrapping the package, just to show the team that it WAS a strap for my watch and NOT a rubber strap-on......

LOL - this have caused quit a few laughs

Just a small fun story from an unexpected angle

  4. I travel a LOT on the highway on a weekly basis about 400km each way to my different job sites. A Ferrari would be nice but useless if i had to haul some boxes or tools...

There isnt lots of snow in the citys, BUT there is a lot of snow on the high mountain highways in Western Canada here so i would need something that can handle that.. So the Ferrari 599 is crossed off the list... haha.. But an Audi RS4 would be perfect..

I like fast cars muscle cars withgood leather interior. A 300c SRT8 is a nice version of that.

Sometimes for work i have to pick up orders from the wholesaler.. those can be many heavey boxes so any small car just wont do. I could get a nice new F350 or something but that would suck ass on the highway at speed.

I think i would pick.... A good performance sport utility.. powerfull.. sporty on the highway, can carry lots of stuff when needed and will get me through the snow in the Canadian winters.. My second choice would have been the new S550 Mercedes 4Matic

    ****Porsche Cayanne Turbo

    perfect!

Lets see what you guys would buy if you could only drive one and were stuck with it.

Or you should get a Ferrari stationcar

    Or a Porsche 928S pickup

    or a Corvette pickup
