You probably won't find a good one. The dial markers are green paint/lume and the hands are wrong. If you want a good version you will have to find one with the correct case and bezel and then go gen for the dial, hour,minute and seconds hands as well as have the GMT hand repainted and relumed. You will need a watch maker to do the work for you as the seconds hand has to be modified to work as well. It is worth it in the end but isn't cheap. Sent from my iPad by osmosis

My bro-in-law has a rep Tag Heuer Carrera chrono. It runs the seconds at 9 and has a day date function. The small silver bezel that surrounds the day date window came loose so he asked me to see if I could fix it. I removed the stem and movement and put it back in place, reassembled everything and it worked fine for about a week and then the bezel fell off again. I removed the stem and movement and adhered the bezel to the dial with a minute amount of glue. No squeeze out etc. I reassembled everything again and went to set the date and time for him. The day/date were aligned at this point. I pulled the crown out to the day/date adjustment and the day only changed halfway and stopped. Turning the crown did nothing now. The date changed fine so I tried advancing the day by using the time setting position. The day advanced but was misaligned in the window. I removed the stem and movement and checked for glue etc on the day overlay, nothing. After reassembly the day only changes about halfway when in the day/date setting position but changes OK when in the time setting position but ends up being misaligned. Can you tell me what I did wrong this time? I didn't force anything or hear anything strange when I reassembled it. Any assistance would be appreciated. It almost seeems like one of the gears jumped a notch or something. I will be banging my head against the wall while waiting for a reply.

According to the Officine Panerai website it is called "Paris Hobnail" and on the various watch sites it is alternately decribed as "Clous de Paris" which is ....A guilloché pattern on the dial of hollowed lines that intersect to form tiny pyramidal shapes. It looks more like a waffle to me being that the squares between the intersections look indented. I like it no matter what it's called.

Yes, the six and lower half of the dial were charged brighter because they were closer to the flashlight when I was performing my balancing act trying to photograph it. Just my feeble efforts and nothing to do with the lume application etc. Then the second picture when the lights were out shows the C3 as blueish when it is actually greenish...amateur

Yes, you are right on both counts. I was working in the dark with a LED flashlight to charge it while trying to keep the autofocus depressed and not move too much. The lume is even under "normal" cicumstances though. I realize that the blue is darker than gen but it seems to be a hard colour to match. I recall a member on RG bought 11 different paint colours and it still wasn't right. I think he ended up saying he blended some together to achieve the perfect match. It is a lot closer to the correct colour now. A+ for observation..

I just got my PAM308 back from The Zigmeister and thought I would post a few pics. Be warned that the pics are lousy with poor lighting but I only have a cheap point and shoot right now. The AR was removed as well as the chrono hands repainted and the hands and dial re-lumed. Quick tunaround over the holidays too. It looks much better now and I am very pleased. The pictures don't do it justice but here goes.....
