Hey everyone, I have a new watch that just arrived, a Bell & Ross BR 01 92 with Asian Eta 2836-2 Automatic 25J Movement @ 28800bph. When I set the time, the watch runs fine for about 5 or 10 minutes. Then the minute and hour hands stop moving completely, but the seconds hand continue to work perfectly. Like I said, the watch just arrived. Has this ever happened to anyone? Is it a sign of a bad movement, needing lubrication, or just a kink that needs working out and it will start running fine in a few days? I could really use some help. Thanks

Hey everyone, I could really use some help picking the right version... I am looking for reps of the following 6 watches. Hey folks, Is there a Jaegar Le Coultre Reverso rep out there worth its salt? Its such a classic and would love to have one, but I also dont want to do it at the expense of a mechanical heap or woefully bad rep. Thoughts?

I tried using the search, but I cannot find anything about how to get the case open. This case doesnt have a screw mechanism so it must be a snap on right? I cant get it open, no matter what I try. I did some general searching on the net and read some techniques that didnt work, most revolved around using a knife to pry it open. Can anyone help me get this case open so I can grease the winder?

Its not worth getting if its so off. What I dont understand is that there are gen versions of the Monaco that dont have the problems that are mentioned in the threads with the 3 oclock hands, why hasnt it be repped then? Seems there is alot of interest in it. So, it appears there is no nice version of the Monza available either?

I read the greasing article, and it might solve my probelm, but how do I get this case back off?

Wow, could hardly read your reply b/c of your avatar.... This is extremely loud, someone 8 feet away can hear it. Is it the case shape magnifying the noise? I'll search on the greasing article

Hey everyone, I have read in detail about the 3 oclock second hand problem that makes a Monaco replica problematic. What about this version, or a similar one though? This one doesnt have the second hand at 3. I am looking for a black face Monaco, it doesnt matter which one exactly, other than I want a good rep w/o the noted problem and shortcomings in appearance. Is there an alternative? Secondly, I would consider a Monza instead, something classic looking, is there one that is well regarded here? I dont want any of the flashy colors or stripes, a white or black face, although that steve Mcqueen model is great but I have read the review and the rep is not very close to the gen. Anyway, hoping someone can recommend a sqare face Tag! Thanks

Hi everone, lurker, but this is my first post, hoping someone can help me. My new Vacheron just arrived and looks great except the the winding mechanism you see thru the glass back makes a noticable noise when it moves, its quite loud and obvious. The noise sounds like a baby rattle, or a metal ball rolling around in a ball. Can anyone help me out here and let me know if there is anything I can do about it myself? Here is the exact model I have: I would greatly appreciate anyone's help!
