As usual, I think you did a tremendous job getting the hand made, but, unfortunately, it is not on par with your insert.
The tips of the GMT hands in all of those pics look exactly like mine - equilateral triangles with the flat, bottom side exactly perpendicular to the red arm wand. From what I have seen, this appears to be 1 of those areas where Rolex was consistent. You might consider having someone (that is not a member) post a pic of your hand on VRF or TZ to get some additional opinions.
Watches like the '42, unlike most other vintage models, are all about the details. I agree with Zeleni that it is difficult to locate gen arms & most of what I see listed on ebay are aftermarket (often from generally reliable sellers). But, unfortunately, in this case, there is not alot of wiggle room, if you know what I mean.
I just took a look at two of mine which came from Rolex and they are equal lateral.

Why not simply email him and ask him to remove the link?

I love this watch. I just got one with an AP band and move the fit and feel of it.

Perhaps it is the spelling that is holding up our TD's. They produce a bunch of Fight days movements that is not OFFICNE.
Big problem for the TD's as they will not buy the movement.

Nicely done sir!

I just checked my Josh 5513 and I was wrong. It does indeed say polex.
Serial number might help here. My serial is L341175.
You must be mistaken. Both of my cases have the same SN too!

Well done sir!

I've finally entered the Tobacco Zone with a 056. I waited until I could source a correct caseback and thanks to Davidsen it has been done.
Here's a link to gen for comparison:http://www.watches24...ee4d90045f0f8d1

Leaves me feeling empty inside. From afar it looks like a Datejust with a cluttered dial.
I'll wait until they stick that movement in a sports case, and turn it into a more appropriately utilitarian watch.
I thinking we should see a GMT III soon. The rotating bezel function is an amazing piece of engineering.

Clarks FTW.
Clarks with Loctite #290 = never a leak, crown operates like Gen.
Based on price, GEN is overrated for a "tube" that no one ever sees.
Clarks and 290 without question

I'll stick with the cartel.
Thanks for a great write up!

Does anyone have the gen hand measurements for each hand in length?
I'm working on two flakes - a blue and a black.

Titanium from Davidsen

Get the Phong crystal.
See Donerix post on show us your Tudor posts.

I sent him an email. This is not the first time he has sold chinese parts. His crowns are worse than some from TD's.

Check the auction history at Antiquorum for prices. Search only 2010 and 11.

Good Work!

My first thought is that they are not gen as I have a pair from Rolex and they fit my MBW case just fine. Mine came from the service center so I hope they're gen but someitmes I'm starting to wonder where they get their parts as well.
