  1. Ok, I think I have to make it clear. I am a PAM fanatic, with all the official OP catalogues since 2002, and a PAM rep fanatic since a few years ago, with 3000+ posts on the different forums and 20+ PAM reps. I used to periodically distil and condense everything I know about PAMs (not reps) on an excel spreadsheet that I honestly think it is unequalled for the amount of info concentrated in such a small room. I used to post it here, but recent happenings drove (and they are still driving) me out of here. If you are interested, you may find it elsewhere. Go there and make a search for "PAM spreadsheet". The latest version is 4.0. I recommend you download that version, no previous versions, as I added tons of new info and had a few bugs fixed. P.S.: That is not a pictorial guide. Any single PAM reps of any given PAM models, and even different reps of a same PAM model by different producers, have their very special pros and cons. On almost 300 genuine PAM models, I could not do any better. ...so far, at least.
  2. Hi, B.! I can speak about the dial only. As far as I know, J's dials were base-model, no seconds subdial. I used to extensively check his offers a couple of years ago (I still happen to have a couple of his dials), so I am quite positive about what I'm saying. Should Jimmy also offer 111-like dials before two years ago, I cannot tell.
  3. Well... at least... not so many... punctuations... there...
  4. I edited my post, Vicky, pls do check (you are too fast to me, as I already said). Nothing critical, just made it easier to see the flaw. DSN is not perfect as well. No 100% logo reps out there, unfortunately. Pls also check your email
  5. Vicky, was that ring all around your wrist, not at the buckle only? Did you already wear that strap (buckle excluded)?
  6. That's a blatant lie. Try it at the very country that created pizza.
  7. Have a great holiday, a merry Christmas, and a very happy new year, Andy!
  8. Have a look here, Vicky. And here, the gold one. 1.99 GBP. P.S.: Vicky, you are too fast for me. Pls give me time to refine my posts!
  9. Good news: that is simply the strap that came with the watch, a common match to gold and rose-gold Radiomirs. I just also dyed the stitching (originally white) with a Letraset ProMarker "gold" (which is actually more of a warm yellow) marker. Cost: a few dollars. Just, after looking at the straps proposed by Vicky, it fades away...
  10. I can't believe I missed this until today. Pix: awesome review, thanks! It's five months now (since the date of the payment, I mean) that I am waiting for the MBK version from TTK. In the meanwhile I got two Narikaa's versions, the one w/strap and the one w/bracelet. I found both them excellent reps, with an unbeatable quality/price ratio. Now I just wonder if they (60 GBP i.e. 121 USD /ea) are different from this 280-348 USD model? Ok, "The fit and finish of the MBK is noticeably superior", but what about the cn clone? Are we at a rep-of-the-rep-of-the-rep, or did Reg surpassed himself this time?
  11. I would suggest sort of all-in-one: a brown croco or gator strap w/ black and reddish nuances and rose gold stitching. Something like this one: ... But wait HER for the best advice you can get.
  12. Nice to see you here, J! Welcome back, have a great Christmas time.
  13. Kudos to you (and yes, Victoria as well), TWP! Vicky is a person who is a bless and a honour to be in confidence with, and I am so sorry to anyone who do not realize it. BTW, that is an exceptional watch. A perfect fit with the addressee.
  14. Vicky, did I already point it out to you that there are no F-series 005? Also, for what it counts, logo models are not in very high consideration of gen owners and 'risti. If you get a gen, you might find it not retaining its selling value in time as non-logo models... (About DSN, I hope I'll be able to do something about his dials... )
  15. Thanks Bjorn. Not perfect but better than many other CGs.
  16. Thanks! Please would you post two pics taken from the lug sides?
  17. Ok, this has gone far away. I don't like such a climate at all. Starting to withdraw my emotional investment (and my contributions) out of this forum.
  18. Nice to see the dog pack at work again. Not blood enough last time? Why not asking the newbies for their opinion about this initiative before starting yelling? You might find yourselves more alone than suspected. And, please, don't even try to put on other members' mouths words and thoughts that are only yours. I think I am contributing a bit to this forum, and I surely do not feel insulted (wow, what a word to such a tiny issue) by threads like this. For the sake of god, it's obvious that this was just a quick starter for the newbies!...
  19. Just adding my voice to chieftang's and dadog's voices, and agreeing with subzero. @TeeJay: cyclops can go together with AR at no problems -- just, if it's single-side AR, it must be applied after the cyclops. I tried both single-side and double-side AR on PAMs. As I already reported elsewhere, the effect of single-side AR on the dial is small, but on the date readability is awesome! So, even single-side AR is an excellent fit on "cyclopsed" PAMs.
  20. Thanks Rolli for your overwhelming amount of info. Just, I was by no means suggesting that PVD coating cannot be performed in many different matters and ways... but only that naming that PVD "aged bronze" is... ehm... a little subjective. I am well aware that it was not you the one who started that naming convention. And please stay assured that I too really feel your watch a stunning piece! Bronze or whatever.
  21. No but you can expect something soon... or later...
