Anyone know of a PAM Sandwich dial with date and magnifier? I'm liking the 104, but would like it much better if it were a Sandwich type dial.

Does anyone know if the PAM 177(L) still has the noise issues? I was really starting to get interested in this model for my first PAM rep, but I've seen numerous threads discussing noise issues because of the thin crystal and titanium. How does DSN's reps of the 177 measure up? I just don't want to be disappointed with my very first PAM purchase. Thanks!

I've been researching PAM's for a while and I can't seem to settle on the puffy dial markers (sitting on the face), versus the shadow dial markers (dial markers are just cut-outs exposing the lume behind). I didn't know when researching reps out there if one style is preferred over the other. Also, which lasts the longest quality wise? Does the shadow dial markers get dust caught in them? Does the puffy dial markers fall off (because of age or insufficient amounts of glue applied, etc.)? I didn't know if there was one preference over the other, for any given reason. Thanks in advance.
