Unfortunately BOB does not have any 24/20 straps suitable for a Breitling deployant. -

Thanks for the compliments! Any suggestions where to score: - a gen strap? - a gen deployant? - trusted(!) AR treatment? -

This timepiece is actually an order for my father in law. I told him never to buy a rep on holiday in Turkey..., but he did and ended up with a Navitimer Seriele Speciale that wasn -
I miss my (by-Jakub-kept) Mille Miglia but still can not decide on a worthy replacement rep. Found these luring pics on another board, but haven't seen it as a rep yet. I personnally like this white face dial better over the grey limited edition. It will definitely look better than the grey dial one on a leather ralley strap like this!! ThanX for watching!

My wife has been enjoying my rep hobby as well. I gave her an Omega Constellation and ceramic Chanel J12 she loves wearing. Last summer holiday in Florence Italy she spotted a gen Patek Philippe Gondolo Gemma in a jeweler's shop and immediately fell for the rose gold / purple leather combination. I found that some notorious scam rep dealers out there have them on their list. I am looking for a trusted RWG/RWI dealer that can get his/her hands on either the plain or the diamonds style replica version of this watch. Thanks for watching!

I bought my PAM232 Radiomir from RWG's member CATS. Both he and I loved this 'golden section' watch but ended up not wearing it much. Somehow I had the feeling this was due to the colour of the (buttery soft!) Savage strap. So I started a picture quest for a more eye-pleasing strap combo for the PAM232. I found a thread on Paneristi from a guy that bought a gen and this Jules Verne or JV strap: Looking for these apparently rare straps I came across an ad from my favourite strap maker HKTAN. He just purchased a JV style treated skin and offered them as the following custom straps. So I sent him the gen pics and asked him to make me a nice 26/26mm specimen. 3 months later this is what showed up on my doormat today After switching the straps. I am very pleased with the warm colour and thick HKTAN quality. This is exactly what I needed. For sure the tan will evolve very nicely in time. Why is the Jules Verne strap so special? To mark the 100th anniversary Jules Verne

Great review, thanks for this informative post!! Still love the 3714 - 01. It is a great dress watch. I once made this gen-rep comparison set-up with mine: I put it recently in the Watches area for sale since I do not wear it much wih its black gator strap. Yesterday I found this great combo with a HK Tan custom brown strap that I would wear much more considering the colour of my belts and shoes. Having a great HK Tan on my 3717, I am now seriously considering to go for this combo and withdraw the offer!! Wear 'em well!

Ahhh, thank you for this nice find!! Still one of my favourite brands! Love the ceramic one very much and from some recent topics it looks like the rep is closeby now! (one of these days I will trade in my Porto for that.) It would look better with my head though.

No I don't think so (I looked up pics of the gen at the time I purchased this rep.)

OK, I watched the movie in the theatre and like all of us on RWG automatically looked out for the wrist shots. Afterwards found the DVD rip on the net and started looking for the scenes where I remembered 007's watch appears more visible. Unfortunately I have not found any close-up shots yet... Bond and his PO just before entering the hotel room of a villain: After killing that villain: Anyone already got better pics?

I am not an expert on the matter and have no connections to any brand. I gathered all information below on the net for my own interest. After two years of RWG I got busted last month when a parcel with a rep was snatched by Customs. I was criminally charged by the Ministery of Justice. I would not be prosecuted if I signed a waver for the rep. Fortunately it was a resend by mistake by a dealer so I suffered no loss. BUT, it made me think if I really want to live in fear of being convicted over a lousy ~200 euro

OK, when nobody wants to buy your superrep and you are a bit bored with the old looks, what do you do? RIGHT, you try a strap change. Now I have always worn my SFSO on a Breitling rubber strap. I thought that was the best thing to do for a diver. I did consider a grey/black shark at some moment in time, but never did. This left my SFSO mainly as a 'summer' watch. Recently I made a swap with an RWG member: my Skyland brown rep strap for his Skyland dark blue strap. And hey, what do you think, this deep ocean blue suits this Steelfish rather nice !!! This will revitalise my joy in wearing it a bit longer until at some day I may let it go. Enjoy the pics! After I toyed around with the Breitling add, I took the only ocean like page from the glossy magazine. OK, fellow James Bond fans, don't scorn me for this pic, but this is the scenery for this watch. Daniel probably won't mind... This is how it will look on the deck of your ship: And on my wrist.

You guessed right !!! (or researched my 'My Collection' topic) I ordered this SMP as my first rep and it got lost in the mail. After convincing Andrew that I did not receive it he sent me another one. My guess is that this was a kind of franken still laying around because it had this (non Bond) SMP bracelet and this defect in the lume marker at 9 So I ordered the correct bracelet and sold the incorrect one, asked Pugwash for advice for a decent lume artist in the EU and sent it off to palpatine for the lume job. Recently I ordered a new bezel insert with larger pearl on fleebay. But the colour is darker/less vivid blue. I will post a pic of the combination soon and will ask the members to comment, since I have no way to compare it to the real thing/colour.

Here is something I really wanted to do for a long time. A write-up and pictorial of the gen and (Trusty) rep of my favourite Bond Omega: the Seamaster Professional 300M also known on this board as the "SMP Bond". I mainly used excellent material of devotees John Holbrook and Dell Deaton. Please enjoy! The OMEGA Seamaster Professional Diver has been worn by Pierce Brosnan in all four of his James Bond movies. He chooses the stainless steel full size with slate blue dial, blue bezel on a stainless steel bracelet
