Heya. Quick question. Bought a lot of tweezers on eBay. Including a style 13 Dumont tweezers. I'm wondering what it's used for. Anyone who can help me out? Pictures included.

Yep, it's a gen. That guy has some sweet deals on Tudors - I've been contemplating about purchasing this watch. But don't worry, I've decided it would be ridiculous for me to get yet another Submariner-styled watch (even if it's a genuine).

Nop, it isn't. But why do you want a T39? I've tried it, and it's too high imo. I went for the T19 instead - looks great!

Depends. If you're building a 'NOS' watch that represents a new watch than I would say HELL YES. If you'll be aging the lot, to make it look old, dirty and beaten up (scratched crystal, not so great polishing) than I wouldn't bother with it myself (based on normal going rates for T19/39 and the 125/127).

Ceramic blue is definitely fake. Just look at the hour hand base - it's about twice as big as it should be.

I've also had success using my teeth. Although, pliers would be my first choice.

Does anyone have a source for these? I PM'd Angus about ordering a handful of these new Clone movements - he said it was very hard to get them just on their own.

I noticed a small nick in the corner of the keeper of my Tropical-Style strap, so rather than run the risk of it tearing while being worn, I've put it away and put the watch back on my favorite SS bracelet

I'm looking into having a few sheets of dial decals professionally printed. I (prolly) know someone who'll be willing to do so - anyone here with a good template that I can use as a trial dial?

Get a vice, hold it in place upwards with both the end in the vice, get a plastic hammer (jewlers hammer will suffice) and start beating at it. I've done this with 2 bracelets now, and they came out great. But as Nanuq stated: Take your time, and hurt that sucker bad.

I have two hour hands at my disposal, I'll try it with those first. Thanks for the offer, though. Asian 21j hands have a smaller radius than ETA movements, right?

I still have it... It's sized to fit an a21j movement, and not in the best condition after the procedure, but it's yours if you want it
