  1. There has been a long-term trend towards larger watches, with a recent spike. If you go back to the 1940's Rolex bubblebacks that were maybe 32-34mm size, you'll see that even over the very long term the average watch size has gone up. With Rolex and Patek now coming out with watches over 40mm, clearly the established brands think this is more than just a passing fad. I think the perception of what defines a 'normal' sized watch has changed. I think people look for a larger ratio between watch size and wrist size now than they did 10 years ago. Particularly in the US, people like anything that is 'big', supersize meals, SUVs, etc. I think it's the same mindset.
  2. I can probably help you with this, but only doing an original/gen project. I won't do reps. You'd need to do at least 100 cases per style. I can really do the whole project, from sourcing cases, movements, dial manufacturing, assembly, etc. If you are serious, PM me. I'm in the US.
  3. You know, US Customs is a govt agency. They really don't care about you or your watch very much, and there is no such thing as 'customer service' - because of course, you are not their customer. So, if they are too slow for you, you will threaten them by saying next time you will take your valuable business to their competitor? Five days in US Customs is quite common. I've shipped lots of genuine goods via Fed Ex which have been held up about that long, and Fed Ex supposedly expedites shipments through customs.
