  1. This combo has stolen the show this Christmas. This series of photos will sell more of the BS's than any dealer ever could. Perhaps you should post a few on the Breitling forums. Just kidding. Wear it well.
  2. I am a graphic designer and a materials fabricator. Scanning and reproducing your image at scale would be no problem to replicate. If I can help, let me know. As my avatar suggests, there are many ways to problem solve.
  3. Like I said, Fat knots suck.
  4. Come on... no contest,... best, most accurate, rep of the year is the BSO Heritage. With the OR bracelet and deployment clasp, it is the perfect rep.
  5. Although Rolex DJ and DD are iconic, they are just a nice 36/39mm watch IMO. My first serious watch purchase was the mens 39 mm Cartier SS Tank which now days I never wear. When it comes to a class swiss watch - it is tough to beat...IMO. Over the years I, like many others, have been drawn to larger diameter cases. 40-42-44mm cases just seem to make more sense. As far as rolli is concerned I prefer the more chunky sports line than the DJ or DD. I find now that when I need to wear a dinner or business watch under a shirt sleeve, I prefer watches like Franck Muller Casablanca's or my daily beater...PP Nautilus. Now Sport watches...that is a completely different story. The bigger (44-46mm) the better. And I have only 6.75 in. wrist. Additionally, my favorite sports watches all have rubber straps these days. Omega 300, Pam 112, BSOH, and my favorite these days...PP Aquanaut. ALL my rolli's, including Subs, Daytonas, vintage 6265, and Explorer I, mostly just sit in the box. Whatever.
  6. IMO nothing looks worse than a FAT knot, regardless of the type of collar. The most beautiful Windsor is a nice tight double. A fine silk tie is a must to get the tightest possible knot. Cheap silk/polyester ties cannot do it. I have tied and retied the double, often up to say, 5 to 6 times to get just the right knot. Worth the effort.
  7. Nooo. It is the beautiful 112H that steals the show, Four nice watches,,,that's for sure.
  8. I stopped ordering rep chronos about 5 years ago. Not only are all the 7750/7753 movements suspect, but they (most rep chronos) are way too thick. (16-18mm) Compared to the gen's of most models, the reps are ALWAYS thicker. For those gen watches that are chronos, most are much thinner than the reps of the same models. (unless they are 1.1) 9mm to 14mm watches are way more appropriate for smaller than 7 inch wrists. A classic diver like an Omega 300 or most of the standard non chrono's are in the neighborhod of 12mm. About perfect.
  9. Double Windsor for me. The perfect knot.
  10. I am wearing my Ziggified EL 3717 as I write. A classic IMO. I love the SS bracelet. Wear yours well. Nice watch.
  11. Damn. I own so many automatics. 1/2 are eta, and 1/2 are Asian 21j's. I wear just a few on a regular basis. I never use a watch winder. When I put the newest on the wrist, I set time and date, wind it and wear it. If The Zigmeister uses a winder for his 6 favorites, then I guess it is time for a winder.
  12. Really the first Corum's I have ever cared for. Stealthy.
  13. Absolutely as nice as it gets. Great straps. The black croc is unreal. NICE. Congratulations.
  14. No doubt about it. For me...world's most perfect watch.
  15. I didn't know they sell fake monsters. Why bother, the gen is only a couple of hundred bucks. Black date wheel for sure.
  16. My favorite weekend watch. Great size, great rubber strap. Lightweight, and very comfortable.
  17. Exemplary. As nice a Pam and strap collection I have seen. Congratulations.
  18. Exemplary. As nice a Pam and strap collection I have seen. Congratulations.
  19. 1st rep - Cartier tank Francias 2nd - 112 Pam Omega's Franck Muller Rolli's Pams, IWC, One Breitling - BSOH But what I wear daily....MBK/MBW PPK Nautilus...or PPK Aquanaut Interesting...... At least to me.
  20. My Phantom with the stealth dial. Lume is non-existent. Still a beautiful watch.
  21. For the most part...people are basically nice. Of the pm's I get from unknown members, most are just inquisitive. Interested. Help if you want.
  22. Just received this for the wife. Such an elegant look. Of course it is really a fantasy version/combo of the 304 and the 314. This one is quartz. Dial is not even close to gen, but beautiful nevertheless. She will love it.
