The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms family is rife with imposters. Hands, dial, and especially the bezel look wrong to me, so I lean toward rep.

Ditto. Art Deco 'Skeleton Pears' are an odd choice for a diver! Handsome watch, but aside from the bezel, not a strong resemblance to the FF. Were I to choose one homage to the original '53 FF, it would have to be the Helson Skindiver.

It's remarkable how many friends I've made through this hobby. P, I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure that the SNZH55 is one of the eligible base watches for a Fifty-five Fathoms mod. The bezel on that watch is lovely.

Thank you, gt rider. I collect a lot of genuine sunglasses, but this widespread belief that wearing rep shades will cause your eyeballs to burst into flames needs to be dumped into the same bin as the "fake watches turn your wrist green" myth.
