Just so I am clear on this one. Silix's PO has the bad markers, but the hands on Silix's PO are longer and therefore more true to gen than the shorter hands on the UPO?
I had also heard that Silix's lug width is not the true 22mm.
So realisticly what it seems we need is:
UPO as a base
Switch hands from Silix's PO to UPO
Switch Omega logo from Silix's dial to UPO dial
get it re-lumed, have the crystal AR'd by Cheif or K2 and then that would be an Ultimate PO save for the bezel insert.
But if you change to Silix's dial do you get the wrong markers as well?

Thanks to you both for your answers so far.
I think I like the Orange myself. I just wanted to gauge others opinions.
I couldn't see the difference in the Omega "feet" until looking at it over and over again and then bam, I noticed it. Now it's very visible to me. I hate how picky we can be.
TJ, thanks for the explanation of the date window. It makes sense to me now.

I've been away for awhile trying not to obsess to much with watches but every time I get out, it pulls me back in! I saw a Planet Ocean in an AD and decided to check on it.
Ok, so I've been reading reviews on the UPO and I think I have narrowed my choice to Puretime. A couple of questions first.
1. Do most here like the orange bezel over the black?
2. I noticed in comparing Puretime to Silix that the hands on Puretime's UPO Lite seem a liitle short. Has that been fixed?
3. Is the date font still different from the Lite to the Asian Clone 2824?
4. Are my eyes playing tricks on me or is the date window a little too far left?
I think that's it for right now. I appreciate the responses in advance.
Thanks guys!

Sorry, didn't mean to put it in the wrong area.

I think I asked this before, but I can't remember the answer. What size strap will work on the Railmaster XXL with the Omega clasp that comes with it? I think someone had a BOB strap on one, but I can't remember the size requirements.
Thanks.

I took advantage of a promo on the Dark Side

For those that have purchased from him, which line of straps is better, Sportivo or Vertigo? I'm looking for a brown strap, 24/24.
Thanks

is the version pretty accurate to the gen and does the subdial work ?
Look at Narikaa's gallery and then google the gen.

I saw Jimmy Connors, who coaches Andy Roddick, and he had on a Pasha Seatimer with the black rubber bracelet.

Does that say "Swilzerland"?

Word on the street is it will be available sometime in Julember.....
The 32nd of Julember, right?

I have my Railmaster on a Black Europelli Baseball with Luminova stitching and it looks great
Nice. Got any pictures of that?
-
Yeah, he posted that on RWI in my other post, but I don't know if it was the Breitling strap or the Pam strap. Acetimer on ebay has some and I think I'll get one from them. It still says 24/22 and it has a deployant clasp on it already.
-
On the Banda site, I see 24mm Pam straps and 24mm Breitling straps. Which one for the Railmaster?
-
I thank all of you for your opinions, and I think I'm going to go for the Railmaster. Now, I have to pick my dealer....
-
What strap size do I need and who has deployant Omega buckles? Dealers here or eBay?
-
I've always been told to go with my 1st instinct, and the XXL was my first choice.
-
Help me fellow watch enthusiasts. I'm torn between the FA Jones with Black numbers or the Railmaster XXL. Help me make a choice please! Weigh in with your opinions on both.

No lume shot?
J/k, that looks great!

Knock on wood, I haven't gotten it wet so I haven't had a problem with it so far!
-
Which means?
If it's a Swiss Unitas Movement you should be fine. I've had my Swiss 111 for almost 2 years and no problems, knock on wood. The Asian movements seem to be ok as well. Now, the question is, what is your definition of reliable. In terms of how long should it last? There are some topics in the search about how long reps should last, but I mean if you treat it right and get it serviced, things like that, then you should be golden.

Thanks man.
What do they do, scrape and re-glue?
