How reliable are the hand wound movements on PAM113/114?

Probably as reliable as the 111 since they use the same movement.

So I finally purchased the Black on Black Shell Cordovan from Drew at Europelli and I am very pleased with the strap itself. Drew is a pleasure to deal with. If you had any questions about him, do not hesitate to buy from him. I had my eye on the football strap as well and I was able to take advantage of Drew's After Holiday Sale. Very good guy. I am rotating them on my 111 now, but I know that my next purchase is the 113.

Gen is on the right. Give aways for me were:

Pearl

Date window (gen is rectangular, while the rep is more square)

Thickness of dial minute markers

Caseback (gen is more flat, while rep is more domed)

Otherwise, its a pretty good rep!

I looked at the valve at the 10 marker. Slightly off center on the right.

I would also suggest the shell cordovans from Europelli. Thick, beautifully finished straps that will develop a matte finish if you let it go unwaxed. Keep it waxed and it will be nice and shiny for a long time.

OK, now I asked this question before about care for the shell cordovan and I was told that there wasn't really anything to do to this strap as far as conditioining or anything like that. What would you wax it with?

OK, I just got my Black on Black Shell (very nice) and I need to know is there any conditioning or wax or anything that needs to be put on it? Waterproofing spray, leather balm, etc.

Before the last Presidential election, a reporter asked Sen. John Edwards to comment on something that Bush said. The site has been up since July and we are doing pretty good. The holidays have increased our sales online and offline. I've been debating if I'm going to have a "crazy sale" for RWG members that order. Hmmm

I went back and forth for a while as to whether I wanted a Black on Black Cordovan from Europelli or the Black Baseball Glove. I went with my first instinct and ordered the Shell yesterday,(pictures to come) but I wonder, how do you feel about straps with a matte finish to go with the "shinyness" of the 111's of the world? I liked the Baseball, but decided to go with the shine of the Shell to go with the SS of the 111. I guess its personal preference as the distressed look is probably more casual, but I know that I'm getting the football strap as well.

I appreciate all the responses. I think I'm going to stick with some contacts that I've made here as opposed to going to NYC. One of the problems with flying up to the city is once I find some stuff, I was going to have to ship it back to myself, and that's more cost.

If anyone has any other ideas, please feel free to let me know.

Going to New York in a couple of weeks and I need some insight as to where I can find some quality rep handbags, Coach, Prada, Gucci, LV, etc. Any suggestions, or does anyone "know" anyone who can help me?

I guess baseball it is then. I have the 111 already on SS, and I want to get the 113 and get the football strap for it.

For those that have the Baseball, does is have a shine to it, or is it dull and needs a coat of glove oil?
