  1. Right on PAM guys. My Eggi (David dl) is my favourite watch. In I am wearing it today and I am sure the guys in the casting room will say, 'Nice piece, Pres) Busher
  2. My big Egi from DSN arrived 6 weeks ago. My experience was that the seconds hand worked but the minutes hand only intermittantly. I just kept winding it, changing its position and now it is working fine. I agree with the member who said the Egi has a rather conplex and sensitive movement with perhaps a mod by DSN. It seems very sensitive to any sort of shock. Also the position of the CROWN must be perfect for winding. If not it will free wheel or even be difficult to turn. So, I would ... 1. Carefully check to position of the crown and make sure the watch is actually wound as it can fool you. 2. Try different positions of the watch 3. Observe it for a few days as it can take that long to 'find' itself. Otherwise ... Write DSN as his/her mail response is excellent Send it to DSN as this movement seems to be very tricky to get going Patience is the strategy and best of luck!
  3. This is my first photo of the watch my son sent me. It had no crown but my watch guy found a crown, cleaned and lubed the movement. Any criticism of this image would be appreciated. Seems you must double click thumbnail to view it? Busher
  4. Getat Watch Co. may be worth a try? Busher

  10. Hi All New member here and first post. I am considering my first purchase, rep PN29202 Pam 292 2007 Black Seal Full Ceramic Asian Unitas 6947 H. and have a couple questions. !. Josh seems to be good seller, but can I assume the movement would have to be disassembled, cleaned, and lubed by my watch service guy? 2. Would the crystal be real or would it be accrylic? 3. Is there another Pan that would be more suitable for a new fellow? I do prefer a real glass crystal. My apologies in advance if this is not a suitable post. Busher
  11. Hi All I am 65, and a retired high school teacher. Hobbies are flight sim, RC glider flying, motorcycles, and now watches. I have been collecting Seikos but my son gave me a Bell & Ross replica. I find myself wearing the B&R a lot and am surprised at the quality and accuracy. I did have my watchmaker check over the movement and regulate the watch. This replica forum should be good for me as there are so many variables to consider. My first purchase will probably be an 'Ultimate' black Omega Planet Ocean with the 1:1 repl. rubber strap I saw at one of the Web Sites. All the best to all of you from sunny Saskatchewan!
