Do u mean the seconds hand on the chronograph stop it at 8 and then press reset?

Hello peeps have a problem my cartier santos 100 automatic chronograph is not resetting to 12o'clock it goes slightly past it tried resetting it loads of times but not going to the 12 position. Does anyone have any ideas please! thanks.
