This one is not that thick and domed like Pam crystal (this crystal is from GST), but gives idea how it look.

I'am sorry i just could not resist....My 3717 with big pilot starp, and double coated crystal (gst crystal instead, but gives an idea)

I was told same thing in the labroratory, most important thnig is Quality of the coating, durabilyty, level of antirelective. Color of the tint is not important that much, but hey they can do it, so why not to try?

I like those, they look kind of honey/gold, Damn, if i only have gen. crystal Lab. could do same specifications as Panerai (they just need to count how strong it is, and the right color is easy thing to do)

I will ask them to make one single sided, with delicate sephia tint

I like blue tint better too, but it is more like a "techlook", sephia tint gives more a vintage touch

it is possible to make genuine, double or single coating for Panerai, with yellow??? or maybe sephia tint, i'am not into Panerai watches but i can make any color of tint, and level of antyreflective You like. The problem is that i don't have any samples of this color, i'am not even sure if this sephia tint is correct, so if You like this idea post Your opinions here and pics of gen. Panerai crystals. This is not sign up for Panerai run thats just an idea. Please tell me what You think about it. Thank You Jakub

IWC 3717 - Yes (rep coating is not even coating it is some kind of thin bad quality film)

IWC Porto - Yes

IWC GST - No, but i did on mine (will post some pics below)

Omega SMP - Depends on model, somtimes it is only single but i love to see this one coated

Omega SMP Chrono - same as before

Omega PO -Yes, standard is single but need double, one more thing is that PO crystal is thick and dome, and this kind of crystal is allways less effective than flat like Inge

Breitling Chrono avenger - YES YES YES

Breitling Navitimer - Depends on model, but i think that this one needs double AR

Breitling SFSO - Yes

TagHeuer Aquaracer - TH is useing lite, not very strong AR with blue tint, so my answer is no, but it's up to You

This is my IWC GST Ti, still missing some hands and movement

It is very hard to scratch saphire crystal useing steel wool, probably You just scratched rep. coating, if not my jeweller will polish them. You have Pm

i talked by the phone with SQL_Pl, he said that any watchsmith cant take crystal from his 3717, he said i'am gona try by myself - and he did it in 1 min.

any news with the "lip marks"? Chieftang said it was impossible to avoid this, so I'd be interested to hear/see what happened.

i did pic of the crystals edge, You can judge, and Yes it is impossible to avoid the lip mark, but You need a microscope to see that
