i opened it with a caseback opener as shown in gioarmani`s review of the DSSD. This is really not perfect, but i haven`t found a bergeon opener for the 43mm case yet. hotbody77

And i found a new flaw too. The dial should not be glossy, it should be matt finished,to see at the photos from chris. but mine is still shining like it was polished!

No, mine was not sealed.i could push the HEV a little bit inside the case. That`s why i opened the caseback. i wanted to seal it by my own. regards, hotbody77

hi guys, i took some pictures to show you the flaws. the only thing not to see in the pictures is the problem with the spacer ring.

i bought my dssd v5 from chris @ eurotimez. Till now i thought this was the best out of box dssd. and yes it has blue luminova. the general look of the watch is great. the flaws can only be seen if i open the case once again. and i will not. do you think i should contact chris to get a new one?

Hello, today i opened my dssd v5 gen eta to seal the hev. then i found some major flaws i think. 1.the engraving between the lugs is Orlex design. 2.the spacer ring didn`t hold the movement in place. so it can move around a little bit. 3.i only got a one piece caseback. i thought the v5 must have a two piece caseback or not ? Now i feel a little p.... off. what do you think i should do?

Hallo Zusammen, dies ist mein erster Post hier im Forum obwohl ich schon eine Weile registriert bin. Erstmal möchte ich mich bei allen bedanken die Posts über die DSSD V5 von Eurotimez und andere Varianten eingestellt haben. Dies hat meine Kaufentscheidung sehr leicht gemacht. Und ich muss sagen dass ich sehr, sehr zufrieden bin! Jetzt aber zu meinem Anliegen: Ich möchte das meine Uhr Wasserdicht wird.Ich will Sie nicht zum Tauchen mitnehmen, aber Sie sollte schon so Wasserdicht sein, dass ich damit am Badesee, im Freibad oder beim Händewaschen sicher sein kann dass Sie es problemlos übersteht. Denn die Uhr ist so "geil" das ich Sie am liebsten nicht mehr ablegen würde! Das Problem ist, dass ich hier zwar einige Anleitungen gefunden habe, selbst aber kein Werkzeug für so was habe und auch sehr grobmotorisch veranlagt bin. Kennt Ihr jemanden aus Deutschland, der Replicas wasserdicht macht? Oder kann ich das beim normalen Uhrenmacher bekommen? Vielen Dank im voraus für die Antworten Sven
