My final list for Breitling is as follows :
Seawolf Yellow Stainless
Blackbird Black Stainless
Navitimer World GMT white dial stainless
Skyland avenger black steel v2
BCE v2 graphite dial stainless
Super Avenger white dial stainless
Super Ocean Steel Fish asian eta black dial stainless
I also ordered the Ultimate Hublot Luna Rossa, I have the Super Ocean Heritage already.
The 2 watches I couldnt afford after selling my gen were the Skyland Avenger Graphite Dial V2, and the Bentley 6.75 white or black dial....I can substitue either one of these 2 for either one of the other 2 on my list....If I were to subsitute the bentley or the skyland, it would be for the navitimer or the hublot----so would you guys keep it the same, or substitute the skyland or bentley in for the navi or the hublot if it were your choice? (note I already have the skyland black steel, and the bentley gt...I thaught the navi would be a nice change of pace)

Great choice of dials and straps, the 29 looks great on the carbon strap
-
Great guys, thank you. I have decided on the 5002, I planned on getting the PAM submersible, and the submersible regatta, since they are almost identical, I will not get one of the 2 and get the 5002
-
I agree that Is what this forum Is all about. Proof... It's made for a great thread My choice would be the "yellow Seawolf" beautiful watch, good luck Mike
That was my number 1 choice
And thanks for the feedback
Dont forget guys, that I will be purchasing all of these I am going to swap out a panerai or 2 for an IWC and a Bell & Ross
I want an Audemars T3, but that will come later
-
Forget the $88.00 one.. its extremely innacurate versus the original.
Pick the 5002 or 5004 - whichever you like more. I just picked the 5002 and received it.
I plan on getting the following mods done:
1) double AR
2) correct the lume
3) service the rotor so it quiets some
4) buy oem strap or comparable
5) fix faux pr to full position
6) fix lowered date wheel
It depends on how picky you are with your reps. The above will close the gap between gen vs your rep.
Do you mind posting a few pictures of yours, maybe a wristie or 2?
I am as picky as you are, and those mods would come in the not to distant future
Thanks for your help, I agree the 5002 looks great, and will most likely be my choice.

This 5002 is the most accurate version (almost 100% flawless).
But you can also consider 5004 (with a "DAYSI" flaw on power reserve subdial):
These watches are really unbelievably good for their price of a bit under $200. They really scream quality and look money. I cannot understand people who still go for these cheaper working PR but flawed as hell versions.... especially when the difference is only around $100.00
I will go ahead and scratch all of the others, and decide between the 5002 and 5004...I like the look of the 5004 the most, but when you say the "DAYSI" flaw, what do you mean by this? The 8 day reserve is faux right, which would be a flaw?
If they are the same size, and the 5002 is almost flawless, I will most likely go with that one, and shoot for a gunny strap

I am new to IWC, and have spent the last hour or so searching around the forum and reading up on everyones watches, but still need a little help.
This will be my first IWC, I prefer large diamater watches, and know that I like the "style" of the Big Pilot 5004. I have found these 3 replicas from Josh, and wanted to know if I should be looking for something in particular?
With Breitling, there are so many versions of each watch, and some know which are the better of the versions...being new to IWC, I didnt know if this rule applied here as well, I would want the closest to gen, ultimate models.
Thanks guys
I know this one isnt the best, but how far off is it for $88.00?

wow, love the strap, wish you would sell it to me

I will await your pics! I am doing the graphite skyland now, instead of black. Everyone agrees that the white dial super avenger is the closest to gen right?
-
Thanks yo, the black looks great!
I feel as if I am partial to the white for some reason, maybe bc it appears to be bigger? Then again I have the white super avenger, so I dont want them to look similar...decisions decisions
-
IMO the REP looks better than the GEN! Great pics and comparison
-
Thanks again Yodap
Once you receive your white dial, any way you would post a couple of pictures for comparison??
If you happen to have any wristies, or any random shots of your black dial laying around I would love to see them.
Thanks again everyone.

EDIT : I was informed that both the lowbeat movement, and the high beat have engraved movements, not stickers.
So my options are :
$350 - FULL CERAMIC case/bezel/etc, low beat asian movement, DOUBLE AR sapphire crystal.
$300 - Ceramic bezel only, pvd case, low beat asian movement, single ar sapphire crystal.
Worth the extra bucks guys?
-
Good choices mate
Thanks for all of your input Yodap, it was a huge help when deciding. Here are my final choices
Blackbird - Only version made
Skyland Black Steel - V2 (more gray from what I hear, and more correct)
Navitimer World GMT - White Dial on SS
SOH - Blue on Rubber
Seawolf - Yellow on SS
BCE - V2 Slate on SS
Skyland Avenger - V2 black on SS
SA - White Dial on SS
Bentley 6.75 - White/Black on SS
I cant decide on the color of the bentley, what would you choose if I want the closer to gen color (white or black)
-
It was sent to me from the dealer, I will ask him now
For $350 I can get the full ceramic model, low beat movement, double AR----or $300 for the one that I just posted up only ceramic bezel, what do you guys think I should do?
-
I will go with the V2 skyland, and the V2 CE, yellow seawolf
-
It has the ceramic bezel , but is not full ceramic
-
I misunderstood it then, sorry. Yes, Rolexman is right, the BCE bezels are very expensive. I was told they are 400-500ish, so forget it.
Here are a few pics of the hublots I have found for about $350 each. What do you guys think, compared to the next model which is 28.800bph with double ar for $600.
Movement - Asian 21,600BPH
Sapphire Crystal with AR coating
Ceramic Bezel
Upgraded Strap
-
wow, 4-500, not worth it to me! Thanks guys for your help, I will just do the v2 for now, once I can afford to get the v3, I will buy it and swap the parts.
Is it wrong to swap the parts and sell the v3 with the v2 parts on it to make some of the money back?
-
I would recommend a donerix strap, I love mine from him, and the quality is amazing for his great prices, and he is a pleasure to work with.
I didnt know this had the regulator, thats a plus
-
-
I was curious how the quality of this was, and for 138....wow, looks great!
Any pics of the back, and lume?
-
wow he is amazing, what does it typically cost to lume everything that you did?
My collections as for now - lots of pics
