i don't know about the lv but i just received a ss ym for my wife and i am very happy with it.

lost my first order of 4 because they were shipped 2 in each package. almost 1300.00 because they didn't ship 1 at a time. you would have thought they would have known better than to ship 2 in the same package.

a gen has 2.0 mm rehaut, a cn has 1.8mm and my tw best from el has 2.1mm. is that what you are looking for? you would have to talk to el to see what versions are avaliable.

do you have a link for his site. i would love to look at his offerings. i would be intrested in that level of quality.

since they are changing so fast is why i think this tread is so important. when things change this is a good place for people to come and comment about what they are seeing, a change they have noticed or a claim that a dealer is making or whatever the case may be. if everybody just comes to this thread and makes those comments there is no reason for one person to take care of updating it. if you read this thread from start to finish there is a world of information right here all in one place and that is priceless.

does eddie have a new one? i haven't seen it. i will have to check it out and see where it falls in the mix.

like i said many times, i expect the flaws but, different manufactures have different flaws and i want pictures that allow me to make a informed decsion on witch flaws i can live with. short hands on a po? no i will see that every time i look at it and it will drive me crazy. mod the watch? hell no, it's not a expensive watch. i am not going to tie up 700.00 on a rep when i can buy a nice used gen for 1800.00. with that said i will spend 600.00 on modding a tt sub because a gen is 7100.00. i just want a good picture that allows me to decide on the flaws i can or cannot live with. it has nothing to do with thinking it should have no flaws at all. anybody that expects a rep will have no flaws is a fool.

what you showed me in those pictures is the date font is fine the mag is not, nor is the day. the hands look good enough, along with the logo and other details. these pictures would give me enough information about the dial, assuming i liked the rest of the watch, so i could make a decision wether or not i could live with those particular flaws. we know all of them have flaws, all i want is enough information to decide if i can live with the particular flaws of the watch in question. there , that wasn't so hard now was it. give me all of the beauty shots you want, but, i still want a utilatarian, detailed, head on shot of the watch so i can decide if i can live with it.

this is exactly what i was talking about. do the hands on the po look good to you? they do to me. i almost bought one of these until i seen a reveiw from somebody that did and i looked at the picture they took of it. needless to say i still don't own one of these.

the pictures and other peoples opinons are all we have to go by when deciding to purchace. i know everybody tries to take the best looking picture that they can but i like a strait shot so i can try and make a more informed decesion, thats all, it's not rocket science. i'm not talking about a shot trying make beautiful picture, just a shot of the dial so i can take a good look at it.

the rolex is any with a date mag and a po is a omega. you know, the one theirs 29 versions of and incorrect lenth hands on most all of them.

it also says tourbillion style watch. hmmmm....

if you are not dead on a rolex you can't tell if the date is centered in the window and you cannot tell if the date mag is aligned. all of the shots of the po are taken with the minute hand away from the lens

i've done it to almost all of my watches and i'm no pro. if i can do it they certainly do it.

if you take a shot of a rolex that is not strait on you cannot see if the date is centered. every shot you see of a po is taken to make the hands look the correct lenth. yes they absolutly do it to hide the flaws. all of them should be required to take atleast one shot of the dial head on.

you cannot seperate the two.

the lv has a large minute hand and a maxi dial. it is much easier to read at a glance. and the same goes at night in the dark. i like much better than my black sub. i wish all of the subs had those features. then of course all of the things that pugs mentioned. i like by black sub but if you have both you will see exactly what i'm talking about.

i'm jelous, lol i want a gen tt blue sub and i should buy a used but i want a bran new one. i know exactly how you feel. i want to walk into the ad and say i want that one!!! show us some pictures when you get it home!!!
