  1. Yuki have yellow lume 16800 matte dial in stock:

    http://www.yukiwatch.com/catalog/item/6380817/7597436.htm

I normally like to use genuine parts as much as possible, but for a quick budget project, I'd rather keep the $500 in my jeans then spend it on a genuine dial.

Just curious as to who offers the best aftermarket 16800 matte dial? I see a white markers on Yuki's site, but it shows on back order.

    Thanks!

  2. Cool! 700 crown and a 700 tube from Yuki and it fits perfectly.

Will try the tube and project 5512 soon.

I have a 700 crown and a 700 tube from Yuki and it fits perfectly it looks exactly the same as Freddy's picture. Now I am forced to build a watch that can use it :bleh: what a dilemma. he he

I have to point that the crown is genuine to avoid confusion

  3. I have email yuki.

    She confirmed 1680, 5513, 5512, 1665, 1655, 5514, 9411, 1675, 5517, 6263, 9420 are using 316L.

    But can't sure 6538, 6536, 6542 ...

I have no direct experience with aftermarket 1680 cases, but I sort of agree with Ronin. I have found that Yuki's English communication skills are quite satisfactory, so I would just check to be sure you can return his case if it does not fit (my experience with other Yuki parts is that they will accept the part back without any problem as long as you demonstrate why it was defective or incorrect). In any case, unless you are 100% certain that crowns, tubes & crystals are gens, I would factor in the cost of gen replacements no matter which aftermarket seller you buy a case from (why would you expect to receive a gen crown/tube from a seller of aftermarket cases, crowns & tubes).

  4. Hi Freddy:

Thank you for your explain and photo.

Could you mind to show me the photo of 700 Twinlocks case tube.

Because I don't have idea how does it look like.

I think they are different with Triplock case tube.

700 crown is it also using in 6536, 5512 and 5508?

    Thank you so much.

Ditto Ubi. The earliest 6263s were fitted with 700 Twinlocks. Later, the factory fitted 702 Triplocks. Today, Rolex installs 703 (or 704, which look the same as a 703) Triplocks during servicing

This is a strange one. I bought a second 7206 expander for my Space-Dweller project back in July, and it came with Yuki 2mm bars pre-installed. These were not jammed in place, and were easily removed. From what I could tell, the endlinks were not deformed, and you can see pictures of them here.

On a side note, Yuki has confirmed that their 7836 rep will not take 2mm bars.

  6. Is it ETA 2846 same as ETA 2824? (the dial feet and window position.)

    My link

If yes, no alignment and redo with this dial.

    Welcome to the 1665 Sickness.

Yuki some decent, better than MBW whites last time I checked. There is also a decent "fool someone at arms length" Rail Dial version out on eBay.

Some have mentioned the "PT 1665" that you have with the 2846 movement has date window alignment issues, so heads up you may need to redo the overlay.

  7. Interesting that they're listed to fit either 2824 or 2784; 2783 and 2784 have the same stem height/position as a 2836...

I have a same question with yuki,

she just reply me, she know they are same stem position.

But she are not sure their "extension wheel" can it fit on 2836.
