  1. It's a scam and not a 7753 or swiss. It's a A7750. Run.
  2. looking as well. Please PM me if anyone has a dwo or can provide a scan of one. Thanks!
  3. Nice Choice! the Lamania is wonderful and the crystal and band look great. I would freeze the 6oclock and where her with pride. Wish they would make a new superrep of this one.
  4. TAPCO in Rockford, IL. I bought 2. They are professional grade taps, super hard with very tight tolerance. I decided if I was going to buy one it my as well be a good one. I would be willing to trade one for another DW pusher.
  5. OK I found the tap and successfully threaded the hole. When I went to install the pusher I broke the stem screw that holds the button. Anyone have a spare screw in stainless steel Daytona pusher they would like to get rid of? PM me and thanks!
  6. I am still looking to get this done. Can someone suggest a person here that would be willing to tap this for me?
  7. I bought a Rolex GMT II case from another m2m. During assembly I cracked the crystal. I measured the crystal and it appears to be 30.0mm diameter which seems like an odd size from what I found on the forum. Can anyone help me with a replacement, Clark, or other listing for this?
  8. I would like to fit DW pushers in a Daytona cartel case. Currently the pushers are press fit so I need to tap the hole to accommodate the DW's. The tap size is the same used for a Rolex 5.3mm case tube and is M2.5 x 0.25. Where can I get this tap? I know ofrei has it but it is really expensive for a tap. Anyone have a reasonable source for these taps or a spare they would want to sell, borrow, or rent me? Maybe a kind sole could tap it for me? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

The tap size is M2.5 x 0.25 as I read from the posts. Where do we get this tap? I see I can buy it from ofrei for 5.3mm rolex crown tube replacement but it is really expensive for a tap. (I have checked Grainger but they do not have the 0.25 pitch thread taps). Any one have a reasonable source for these taps or a spare they would want to sell, borrow, or rent me? Maybe a kind sole could tap it for me? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
  10. Hi all. I need some advice. I was planning to build a 7928 using the JMB method of decal dial and a cartel rolex but after more forum reading I found that Angus has a 1680 based 7928. http://puretimewatch...ume-dial-a21j/. This watch is very close to what I wanted to build. Seems to be a heck of a lot easier than trying to decal a dial on a donor watch. Now my thought is to just buy this one and make it more vintage. I am no rolley WIS so I can live with some minor flaws. What I am really after is a piece that looks its age that was really worn a lot but was also polished and buffed very often and obviously very loved. This would be my plan on ageing: - iodine Bake lume/hands - lightly bleach insert - scuff crystal, then polish out so deep scratches are still noticeable but plex is shiny again - scotchbrite rehault - scotchbrite other polished case parts as needed - 80 grit sandpaper on caseback then mirror polish My goal is to keep the total cost under $200 but I am willing to buy a few extra parts to make this look right. What do you guys think? Should I go with the Angus 7928? Is there any must do's to this base watch to make it more accurate (crystal, CG, crown)? Will my plan for ageing work? What else for ageing do you all suggest? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  11. Hi, I can do the swap for you. I have done it many times and I have professional tools. I can order the movement for you from AJOESMITH as well if you like or you can just send me everything. Cost: $60 - $100 depending watch condition. I am in Minnesota
  12. Well I guess that is one way to do it…buy both! Congrats they are both beautiful.
  13. Oh and baring the subdial issue, the full size moon is almost exactly like the picture on Omega’s webpage. I want one.
  14. Ok I think I got it. I have been looking at dealer pics and now I see many differences. Reduced second hand is shorter. Reduced has no accent over the e in Tachymetre. Metal outside ring of the reduced exhibition back is thinner then moon’s. The face of the moon and reduced look to be the same size but the moon’s rehault is slanted in to make up the room of the bigger case. So it appears Paul and King are reduced. PT and Andrew are full size moons. Are you guys aware of any other vendors selling the full size moon?
  15. Pugwash So there are two sizes? 38mm (as reviewed by Bytor) and 40mm (your review)?
  16. After reading the review by By-Tor (http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=10733), I am now 100% confused. I had assumed all the Omega Lemenia Moon watches were the same size. Now I am not sure. Pugwash’s review of the PT one claims its 40mm. By-Tor measured his to be 38mm. First I am very familiar with the real Omega items: Moon (3570.50) is 42mm. Reduced (3510.50) is 37mm. I have gone to the AD a few times and compared them side by side and IMHO the reduced looks like a kid watch next to its big brother. I love the size of the 3570.50 and do not want the reduced. Which of the following are Moon and which are “reduced”? Paul http://www.wo-mart.com/product_info.php?ma...products_id=297 Andrew http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...products_id=535 King http://www.cclv.net/OMEGA-054.htm Precious Time (Pugwash Review) http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=8035
  17. Definitely I will tell them. They would already know since there is no way I would blow $20K on gifts!
  18. Thanks for the help and kind wishes. I just sent an email to Josh.
  19. Can anyone tell me if this watch from King (http://www.cclv.net/TAG-034.htm) has the new 7750 that runs at 28.8BPS? Is this the black faced version or the blue? With all the talk about Tag Heuer Link Chronograph’s I am considering buying 10 for groomsman presents. I asked Andrew, King, and Paul for pricing on 10 of these and King came in the cheapest. Is King a good supplier for these? Is there anyone else I should ask? I can not afford to lose $2000 so I thought I would ask here before I pull the trigger.
