  1. ...I just noticed we have another "Rob G" here.

@robbnj be careful where you use that signature it might draw confusion and dismay that there might actually be TWO RobbieG's floating around here now.

Hey, maybe you could be my stunt double and take the hard knocks for me?

Maybe I'll have to sign my posts "Rob G, Not Robbie G."!

Then again, your posts are pretty easily distinguished from mine by your knowledge of the rep subject.

Hey, if anyone doesn't like something you've said, just point the finger at me!

    Rob G., Not Robbie G.

  2. Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought the only dealers in the US were WBK and Sead (?).

Second, I read that none of the reps come with true ETA mvmts any more (?).

Continue to research to make sure you get what you order.

It seems a lot of folks here have learned the hard way ('been there too).

Looking for advice on where to purchase a quality replica of a 42mm PO in USA. Would this website be a good and trustworthy place to buy from? Link Seems like a quality rep from the pictures. Thanks!

  3. As a matter of fact this type of pressure testing is working a bit differently than what you fear: you build the pressure up inside the chamber with the watch NOT immersed. After reaching the desired pressure you submerge the watch in the water and start releasing the pressure. If there is no leak, then the watch is under no danger. If there was a leak, then the case is at higher pressure (say 3ATM) than the chamber, and there will be air exiting the case (in the form of a series of small bubbles) There is no way that water will enter the case in this scenario. Hope it clear now.

OK, so the air bubbles coming out are being forced out as opposed to water being forced in (and trading place with the air).

    That makes sense now.

    Thank you!
