  1. I was thinking about ordering a watch from EuroTimez, but I see he hasn't been on the forum in a few months, and the watches on his site no longer seem to have prices, or are priced at 999.99. Has anyone ordered and received a watch from him with the last few weeks?

eurotimez88.com has prices. Ordered a month ago from Patrick. No problems. QC'd and delivered. Two weeks.

  2. Not at all, it was only on the close up that I noticed it.

I play tennis myself, and cannot imagine wearing a watch whilst playing....especially something of that size! It's similar to Serena Williams, she plays wearing a necklace and dangly earings...now I couldn't imagine wearing my dangly earings whilst playing tennis! :)

I've read that Robredo's opponents have complained about sun glare coming off his watch.

  3. I haven't had the metal tested if thats what you mean. It was explained to me that it was 100% Ti. I looks identical to other Ti when compared. I'm pretty good with metals, It feels like and acts like Ti. I'm safely saying yes its absolutely real.

I'll have to get back to you on the strap size tonight.

    Thank you NPF. ;)

thanks I'd appreciate it , been undecided which pam to start with

I think I'm going 177 with a light tan calf from strapculture

  4. Hi,

I have read some topics about chrono watches here on the forum but I have not found clear statement. I want ask if you think it is ok to have chrono running non-stop (A7750 hi beat). I just love that smooth movement of second hand :)

    What do you think ?

I run mine, stays in sync with small second too, no probs. I think there is a explanation on here somewhere as to why it's ok. Possibly by By-tor?

  5. has anyone purchased from wbk time in collectors section?

his prices are quite low, but maybe I'm missing something on this crappy iPhone

I don't see the item numbers in the subject line to buy stuff on his webstore.

    Any thoughts?

  6. Yea I have already decided to return the watch. Emailed Angus, but apparently he has gone AWOL at the mo, so emailed his partner Peter and he sent over an apology, repair form and said ship it back and they will fix it. Think I'm going to go down this route.

Thanks cmt-sutton, but after reading a few pages of that thread I dont want to chance it, especially as my watch is still under warranty.

So, next question, whats the best way to send it back? I did a bit of research, and read that registered airmail international signed for via royal mail is the safest way to go, and should cost about

  7. Plus 1

And to the above poster the AR and crystals that you get on our better reps is as good as the high end gens

    Here is a challenge.

Find a Gen that costs $300 with the following

    Saphire crystal

    Double AR

ETA type, inc selitas automatic movement or a seiko movement infact i will alow allow a miyota auto

    Steel bracelet

    100m + water resistance

    stylish

    any takers

how about an Invicta pro diver, decent cheap watch. Meets those qualities.

  8. you can pick up a new seiko monster right now for 145 (usd). IMO, there is no rep that could touch this in terms of overall quality at this price. I know there are many stories, someone picked up a 100 rep and it lasted for years without issues. But IMO, it is the unknowns and unpredictable issues from lack of QC that is the reason my collection is only gens. For example, exploding crystals, stripped case tubes or crowns or lug screws or modifications made to make the watch work just long enough to sell it. In watchtime it was reported the 40 million reps were made last year compared to 26 million gen Swiss watches. I wish I could get a number on how many of those 40 million are still running without issues. The difference is that brands like Seiko have a rep, as in reputation so they want their watches to last. The rep companies want to keep their cusomers coming back. Just my opinion.....

Where can you get a monster for $145,? never seen them that low
