  1. I just had a look at my pictures again. They definitely look bigger than the watch does in real life. Cameras only have one focal point, so it gives you a bad reference on depth perception. Anything in the front will look bigger. Two eyes makes two focal points so you get a better depth perception between the watch and your wrist. If you're thinking it's just a TAD too big, then you'll probably be happy with it in real life. If you're thinking it's WAAAY too big, then in real life it's still probably a tad big. 40mm x 40mm gives a cross dimension of about 56mm.
  2. Hey pman, My wrist is a 18.5cm circumference. About 7 1/8 inch if you prefer imperial. I don't have a 44mm Panerai, but I took some pictures with the Tag next to a 44mm round Fossil watch i have. Just for comparison sake. I couldn't find my brothers digital camera, so I had to take these pictures with my camera phone. Hope they suffice for now. I'll take some more when i find the camera.
  3. I should have taken another picture after some time to show you the sub dial movement. The sub dials actually have another hand 180 degrees from the orange hand. So if you can imagine the center point of the sub dial with 1 hand on each side, separated 180 degrees apart. As the orange hand swings underneath the watch face, the other pops up on the other end. The other hand is also chrome coloured like the minute and hour hands. It is like this on both the left chrono dial(minutes) and the right 24-hour clock. The only funny thing is that when the orange hand first hides under the face, it is at about 15 minutes on the chrono. Which is about when the opposite hand comes out from underneath the face. This point at the bottom happens to be the 45 minutes mark. So you have to kind of imagine where the original hand is located underneath the face to measure the minutes using the chrono. Not a big deal I actually wondered the same thing, and though perhaps the sub-dial face would revolve under the hand.
  4. Well obviously the pictures are to big to post in this incompetent forum. Sorry for getting personal rwg. I just wasted half an hour attempting to post the pictures. lol
  5. I purchased this watch from Andrew(Trusty Time) a month or so ago. I love it. I've written a review + pics of it in the tag heuer section. or jump here. Monaco 24 review
  6. First things first. Let's just remind everyone that taste and preference varies from person to person. I purchased this watch from Andrew(Trusty Time). I'll quickly just say shipping time was great. Watches(ordered 2 at once) were very well packaged and very secure. Bubble wrapped with a wickedly thick styrofoam sarcophagus. FYI, shipping location was to approximately Toronto Canada. Next. I personally loved the look of the watch from the pictures alone(both gen and rep). I had realized that the rep wasn't quite as precise as some of the other watches members here have mentioned. I just wanted a good looking watch, and that just happened to be a replica of a really expensive concept watch, go figure. Let's be honest. Even if this was an absolutely perfect 1:1 replica, who's going to believe it's real anyway?. Anyone who spots this watch and knows it's a tag heuer monaco concept will probably also knows this watch doesn't really exist, and probably costs the same as a new BMW m3. "Hello sir, and welcome to taco bell.. Saayy.. it's odd that a man with a quarter million dollar watch would eat at such an establishment such as this.." you get the point. Build quality is good. Watch is nice and weighty. Feels good to hold. Clasp is surprisingly good. Leather band and stitching i also enjoy. If you haven't checked this watch out yet, i'll give you the brief details. It is a quartz movement, and does have a functioning chrono--also doubling as the second hand. Lens is AR coated. The blue hue in the right light looks awesome. The blue and orange stripes on the face of the watch are bright. The watch is a 'little' big(mostly thickness), but not as large as wristies make it out to be. Here's the touchy subject. The style. This is obviously in a different styling genre, but for me, it's the ultimate modern watch. I personally love the styling and size of the watch, and have had several compliments on it already. I also can't see a top level Swiss watch company producing a 'hideous monstrosity'. But to each his own ugly gold rolex.
  7. Just purchased this watch. Here's some pictures and my thoughts of the watch.
