  1. Lol, no way. Although I know the goods Ken sources are of the highest quality in all of repdom, anyone who has ever travelled knows that after being checked only once, even the highest quality genuine gear will be irreversibly marked.
  2. Inspire workshops (HK) can custom to your specs and even build in the gen like T-mould .
  3. Have a highly modded White steelfish too, but I'm not a fan of it.
  4. I don't have a big enough mirror! (Haha. You knew I was always going to say something like that hehe).
  5. Just came across this while searching for a pin vice (after checking watchbitz of course ). remembered this thread and thought it sorta belongs here. I'm not sure i want to see the selection of pin dicks...
  6. Figured this probably belongs here... This may be old but I've just discovered it: Here's some handy PSD templates. You have to use the one that suits your 'bio' (the lines above your profile that state your work, relationships etc). Instructions and downloadable templates The template and instructions are simple, picking the right image is the hardest part. They also have templates and instructions for Gimp Here's mine, looks better without the blurring obviously:
  7. Thanks mate! Yep I'm trying to get the collection down to just the keepers... this is one of them. Mesh is worth three times as much as the watch lol.
  8. The 318 is only coming off for this. New gen mesh: Once you see it, you'll [censored] bricks
  9. +1 for josh. The simplest and shortest answer to your question is to buy the most expensive and/or latest version of the watch you're after from Josh as perfect clones. Don't google his site - go to the "collector" (dealer section) here to get the correct web address for Josh. While this will be the best way to go most of the time there are some caveats - but that's the info that only reading and research will will teach you.
  10. "I like their old songs better than their new songs" Forget branding and heritage for a minute. For my eyes (and wrist) it's modern while some traditional design aspects and exceptionally comfortable. It's big enough that you don't look like you're wearing grandpa's watch, but not so big that you look like one of those rap guy's girlfriends.
  11. I would like it wider for aesthetic reasons but perhaps Rolex's R&D discovered it was more comfy this way... it's a damn comfy watch for a big one. Haha, that's what i said about rolex, and panerai and breitling. I was wrong.
  12. First, find out what the real model name for your Cartier is - what the ADs call it - just in case the rep is known differently (like "UPO" or "swissfish" hehe). Then call them on the phone - i find calling better than emailing - and say you need new spring bars for your 'Cartier Santos 100' for eg. The only time i've ever been asked for a Serial number is when i was ordering a new boxset, so you shouldn't need it for spring bars. That may vary from to brand policy though... good luck! Edit: you need to call the customer service number, not any of the others.
  13. Yes, in both Singapore and Australia (for an IWC). They are very good and very professional - totally unlike the AD.
  14. Oh sorry, yes Richemont. They are the guys who supply parts for and service Cartier amongst many other brands. For genuine parts except for straps (but even buckles and etc) you or the AD always have to go through the service centre. http://www.richemont.com/
  15. Haha, yes many of us do. Me? I'm not a fan of the brand at all. I only like this watch. Have you tried one on? Like my experience... I bet many who 'hate" it would change their mind after wearing it for half an hour.
  16. Hey, the AD will useless with this kind of stuff. Contact Richemont.
  17. Got my 318 yesterday: Do believe the hype:
  18. Dunno, i agree it does look funny at first but the DSSD rep is the most comfortable rep to wear that i own. It wears exceptionally well. That said I think it would look better if it tapered from 24 down to 20mm
  19. Nice 114! Wear it well. Any more info on this? I'm amassing the parts for for a 114 project. I have an awesome Goin lumed dial and hands, WSO CG and a cartel 113 so far... Any advice from the pros for the project?
