I don't have enough to make a list, but with the few I own, I've got to commend the SOH out of the box Oh, and I like those posts, peeps like me can make lists from more experienced opinions and go suss them out. One thing I'd REALLY like to know is what collection king Lani^ thinks is the most accurate from the cartel, no mods, no consideration for taste - just straight OOB most accurate replication...

Absolutely agree. A beautiful timepiece both gen and rep. Classic lines. Simple but not exactly retro and my example (perhaps they are all like this?) is spot on. Everything is straight and aligned. As many state, no one ever comments on others watches, but this one gets much attention: "wow, that's cool, can I have a look". Even chicks dig it. I've only had mine for a fortnight but I already want the chrono. IMHO, it's the best rep I own. Congrats Demis! Oh, one strange thing on this one, it wears smaller on wrist with the mesh than with rubber. Usually the other way round.

Hey OS, this may be a harder one cause i've asked various brick and mortar parts dealers about this before Watchbitz opened... How about the same in solid? Have been told by John at Albion he would have to custom make for the particular watch i want it for, but maybe you know better? The watch in question has same curve as submariner only narrower by 1mm... Thanks

Ok, so I checked with another AD, and here is Aus, they want $200 more than wherever the wolverine state^^ is, which I'm guessing is the US. Makes me wonder about the price of the gen watch. In another thread I mentioned I was interested in it because it was reasonably priced, but I priced it in Japan. Hmmmm. I will march into my AD on Wednesday and demand answers

Wow, the dealers are trying to get the supply/service gen-like as well. In Australia, it seems you can't even buy the gen the with orange (plain) leather! Not a single AD in my city could get one, had seen one, or even knew what i what talking bout until I pointed it out in THEIR OWN catalogue. One even tried telling me it was actually croc but you couldn't see the grain in the pic. LOL.

Thought some may be interested in this... I know its very far from accurate but here's a cheapy I picked up. I grabbed it just to see if I like the mesh style enough to spend the required hundreds on a more accurate one. The gen is $850 at the AD BTW Got it from "seikoprince" on the bay for $20.
