  1. very simple mod to make this better. You only need one tool to fix it.
  2. yes, the one on that link I posted earlier. I have two of those. Very good movements.
  3. printed but I know that because I have one of those and I just checked under the lupe.
  4. That's a low beat Swiss rep. There are better rep movements out there. Check this thread.
  5. Rep. That's a Swiss movement (you can tell by the shock protection in the balance wheel) with a bad Cote de Geneves engraving. The OEM should have an incabloc shock protection with a much finer CDG engraving. There's also lack of pearlage on the bottom plate and the Officine Panerai engraving should be thinner too. Here's how the gen looks like. Very easy to tell.
  6. honestly the RBII looks very expensive on the wrist but it is also very sporty. The Evo RG is a very very good rep but it doesn't have the same wow factor. They are two different styles though.
  7. All I can say is that I have received QC pics from a dealer and received a DIFFERENT watch. When I complained there was some silly explanation that "this is a very popular model and my business partner must have make a mistake". QC pics are just for the dealers to protect themselves from those buyers that say "oh my watch is not working", "the dial is damaged", etc. It's NOT to help you.
  8. I'm sorry but who uses terms like "irrelevant and fabricated comments" and "affects our relationship"? I know many dealers that provide QC pics don't want to wait for a long forum review process that can be confusing but that language is just silly. Reminds me of the "delightful" Robert.
  9. That sounds like that "nice person" Robert (PWC). He claims forum members pointing out the obvious flaws of his cheap reps amounts to this BS you have described. Avoid him.
  10. I'm fixing one of those 1:1 Nautilus and I guarantee it is a SW200, not the SW200-1.
  11. be careful with the SW200. It has a defect in the hatched wheel that Sellita has fixed with the SW200-1. I'm assuming these "Swiss" reps come with the obsolete SW200.
  12. it's like we dealing with amateurs over there. It must be really hard to copy these "new" models (the 16600 was introduced in the 70's ). What a joke.
  13. So new pics to hide the flaws? Or maybe they will take pics of a gen
  14. iirk I prefer Pete's pics. This is awful
  15. I don't think Timeshop is a trusted dealer here. To be honest I would stick with the approved dealers to make sure you get the latest version of the DSSD.
  16. I don't think Josh does anything other than guarantee first stocks for him with the factories. There's no expert review of such detail. They just look at it and say "good enough, let's go sell it." Angus at least makes an effort to publish prototype pics of the PAM models and engage in constructive feedback. The PAM029M was a great example. He published pics, we provided some specific feedback, they fixed it to right specification and now the 029M is perfect. Let's hope Angus takes an interest on the SSD because quite frankly this Josh led effort (if that's even the case) has proven fruitless.
  17. Sorry but a sticker to give the optical effects of CDG engraving? You can't be serious. What's next? don't buy a watch just glue a magazine ad to your wrist?
  18. Gold watches are the biggest warning sign for me. Unless the wearer is someone that looks to have lots of cash I'll always think rep (one of the reasons I gave up on RG reps).
