The rumor mills on RWI and Geek indicate TC is taking a break from the rep world... Also, your choice of model might make some difference in who the best supplier might be for a particular part.

I think my case supplier might have these type in SS - I know he has them in plated form.

Probably easiest thing would be to get the plain SS case, re-shape, then get the whole thing plated... M, was your rep case sort of "flat" between the lugs or round like a regular DJ case?

If you have clearance issues you can remove the DW as it's not needed on an OP.

Quite a bit of difference in the bezel and crystal area and the rep lugs look a tad chunkier. Maybe I should write a program - nah... But, those observations aside, it's a nice looking watch!

I think I used all of them but I'll check. I've also got a couple of those cases left and one is a two-tone complete with bracelet I'll likely never use. I got a lotta stuff like that...

Very nice job! It's nice to know that a gen Rolex dial is smaller than the Tudor. I have built a couple Tudor mid-size with gen Tudor dials and they fit the case perfectly. Your solution was slick!

I guess one good thing about these new Rollies, rep CGs will no longer be an instant "tell" anymore!

The OP was in a complete gen case so a custom movement spacer had to be made for a 2671 movement as the 2836 size was a hair too big. The spacer was a PITA and I think I had to use hands from two different Rolex spec hand-sets to get the proper sizes to fit the 2671. If you are just going for the size/look the easiest thing would be to use a mid-size rep Tudor case as it will accept a 2836...

I have built a couple of 31mm OPs, no date version. I did not enjoy it...

Good job on a more than average difficulty build. I'm not sure why more of us don't build a nice Ladies DJ for the wife/GF. My wife refuses to wear a "mans" watch so I don't have any choice!
