I'm at home on the 28th and can post some pics of it. The black dial 14790 is most accurate.
I have a 7.1" wrist and it's small but somehow a nice piece. I'm used wearing an ROO or MBW 15202. Lume is decent.
Happy xmas all!
The closest Royal Oak in my opinion is the 14790 black dial. It has a closed caseback but it's only 36mm. I do love my white one though. Wearing it as we speak.
The 15300 is close, but you can't wear it on leather as the plots won't fit and the rep doesn't have any plots. There is an RO with faux leather strap available from the dealers but I can't remember which model.
I'm working on a new franken project and I would need to get PVD plating removed. Is there anyone who has experience with this?
I have found some threads on other forums about Hydrochloric Acid 32% and removing PVD by reversing the electoplating.
Anyone who can help me out? Or anyone who has experience in this?
Thanks!
Haha, thanks. It's just my love for these reps. No commission is needed as long as I can keep my good connection with some of the dealers. It's a hobby, not a job
If it would be snowing instead of raining here I could have posted some other shots...
Anyhow, another one here, the pacific, on my way to go diving... Went to 30m with it and somewhere I still have the shot at 30m, but I can't seem to find it back .
Here's a pic from my review. No differences on the Tapisserie.
The inner bezel, endlinks and caseback still have some minuscule flaws, strap grain as well.
This is the new rubberclad released in January 2012 at SIHH. Factories updated the rubberclad but unfortunately with flaws. The older version was good.
Ok guys, I originally ordered 35 pieces but I asked for 5 more and I'm awaiting his reply.
Currently the raw datewheels have arrived at the workshop. But the 1st problem has occured. The background colour is not standard available from the datewheel manufacturer himself, it's either black or white. However, I will try to get them painted or coloured before the date printing starts. If this is not possible then we will have to do it with a white datewheel.
I am sure that something can be worked out by a modder to get a white datewheeled coloured. Anyhow, I'll be updating by each step.
