They've beaten Dom Pérignon in a contest a while back. The champagne's on me guys, it's only a 3h drive... Unfortunately the stolen pieces weren't insured. I usually keep them at the bank, this time I had 4 of them lying at home. The biggest hit was my Rolex 5513 gilt from '66. Gonna work hard to earn that back...

Hey guys, Most of you will probably know me from the AP section. I've been a member on the rep fora since 2008 and really haven't been on here actively since about 1-2 years. I'm checking back in. I was collecting & still am collecting gens but after a recent burglary where they only came for my watches I'm drawn back to reps. I took a big hit and don't want it to happen again so most of my gens will stay at the bankvault. Let's get back to getting some reps in my home! :-). Looks like the makers mainly focus on Rolex, AP, Tudor etc. Not as much Panerai as back in the day nor Hublot or other brand. Think for example about Oris, Longines, ... My main interest for the last years are vintage pieces, preferably utilitarian. I love pieces used in the military. Anyhow. Hey guys!

Hey guys, I'm looking for a company that is able to produce bezel inserts. Mainly inserts made out of aluminium that are anodized (the way like rolex does it). Does anyone have any leads which company offers that kind of service? 1st option: - full production 2nd option: - 1 company that produces the aluminium inserts - 1 company that completes the anodizing process Any help is appreciated! Big congrats! Just accepted one myself, but chose for the matte dial. WG surrounds were introduced in 1984, an R serial would definately not be right for a matte dial. Ther was one topic on TZ a few years back from a guy posting a pic of an R 16750 with matte dial and paperwork, that is the only one that I've ever seen posted. It's likely impossible. The problem with a piece like that is conformation. Rolex serials can be minefields.

Congrats! It's a classic. I have been on the fence for a G320 TDI for about 2 years but in the end I made a rational choice. Fuel prices combined with road tax here make it a stupid decision to buy a G here in my country, especially for a daily. Built like a tank. Wonderful car.

"would" sell, indeed. My last run was based upon members who were gonna buy one as well, a lot of them signed up, I made them and in the end when payment has to be made they go silent. So I don't feel like doing a run anymore to be honest. Forgot to mention that I only have about 6 dw's left for thos interested.

Hey guys, Just wanted to post that 2 weeks ago I sent out a package containing 3 pieces. 2 AP's and 1 IWC Ingy 32227. The watches all needed a service and were heading to the netherlands. Since the 20th the package is missing, Dutch Post says they never received it although tracking shows they did. Anyhow, long story short, that piece was given to my dad by me. So I feel pretty bad about the whole issue and wanted to ask you guys to keep an eye out if you see a 3227 appearing on a website without box or papers, in case it got stole and someone wants to make some quick money. Also, if anyone is willing to sell his 3227, I'm willing to pay a good price as I want to give it back to my father in some way possible. Been thinking about gen as well but he would not accept that. Thnx.

It's hit and miss with aliexpress, been buying from Alibaba since 2008, overall very very please and if you look well you can score some great goods.

So far there is not enough interest over all the forums. Next to that, my supplier is swiss, the movements used are Asian. These Asian dw's are thinner than the swiss ones, which may cause problems...
