I have a simple "noob" question. Why aren't replicas truely water resistant? You pay $200 - $400 for a nice replica, yet it isn't water resistant. You can buy a cheap $30 watch at Wal Mart and it is totally water resistant. This just doesn't seem right.
I know the replica websites say they are water resistant, but I also know you should never get them wet.
Ok, I know this is juvenile, but it is amazing the quality of the Reps vs Gens. I know this won't be easy as I am not a great photographer, nor are these watches all the same model. However 3 of these are Gens and the others are Reps. Can you tell which is which?
I just received a replica Panerai watch (http://timeshops.net/Luminor_Panerai_Daylight_Aisa_7750_White_Dial_1721-436.htm) and it is missing the upper crown guard screw. I don't know the size of the screw but was wondering if anyone could direct me to where I could acquire it. I hope Timeshop will send me one, but I rather doubt they will. If anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
I bought two watch winders from Acetimer.com and they have been great. One winds 8 watches and the other winds 2. I am very happy with the quality of the winders and they look very nice.
I just bought a 4 head - 8 watch winder from acetimer.com. So far it has been working great and I can't believe how nice it looks for the $250 I spent. Hoepfully it will continue to work.
