  1. Thank you all for your prompt reply. I had no idea the hands and dial were different. I have been considering the WM9v2 Sub or the soon to be released new 2009 WM9Sea-Dweller. The case sizes of the LV/Submariner (40mm case w/13mm thickness) and Sea-Dweller (39.5mm case w/14.8 thickness) are diffent.
  2. I cannot figure out the difference between the LV and the Submariner? Besides the green insert; they look the same 2me.
  3. I have been considering a WM9 v2 Submariner or the soon to be released WM9 2009 Sea-Dweller. One thing I am not sure of is the length of the minutes and seconds hands. On a genuine Rolex the minutes hand extend (just touching) to the minute markers. The seconds hand extends just beyond(slightly over) the minute markers. Do the WM9 v2 Submariner or the soon to be released WM9 2009 Sea-Dweller have the correct hands length? 4. So here is my dilema. I am interested in a rolex such as the Submariner base. After pricing a genuine at the AD-that ain't happening! I have read several very impressive reviews of the WM9 v2 Submariner, but now the new SEA-DWELLER is about to be released. There are no reviews on the new SEA-DWELLER, but if this item is as good as the v2 or the YM, then where is the risk? I need some expert advice and guidance. Thank you in advance.
  5. Wow! What a great response. As best I can tell the group is in agreement that the crown position should be addressed (possibly a new movement would be the fix), a correct size crown, improved crown guards and perhaps a geniune insert. As far as the price; well good things cost money, great things cost more. So with these fixes would this be the "perfect rep submariner"? Can anyone think of anything else?
  6. OK, so it is comfirmed that the WM9V2 Submariner is the best Rolex sumbariner rep available. By now you have all read the reviews by many of the Rolex rep experts. My question is, if you were king for day, what would you do to improve the current WM9V2 Submariner? Are they minor or major improvements? Thanks for your expertise and insight.
