I know what you mean about getting picky with minor things... let it go, now that there are some things that bother you, they will bother you forever... And a gen is always in a different league. For me the reps are more a test drive - If I really love a watch, I will buy the gen eventually (if I can afford it that is... probably won't buy an AP ROO in the near future... ).

I guess it depends on the gasket used - there are different gasket heights available for Clark's crystals, can't remember which one was correct for the sub though.

Well, looks like this baby is now mine! I'm impressed by the overall quality and finish. I once owned a LH 111 and have to say it wasn't much better. The only thing that bothers me is the lume colour - that's still too greenish! I think I'll have it relumed, then it will be almost perfect.

Hmmm, apparently mine was delivered in UK 10 days ago but no sign of it since... if the guy had forwarded it as soon as possible it should already be here by now. Well, we'll see. I'm sure it will arive eventually.

Hi! I ordered from Josh and used his "Shipping via UK" service. According to the tracking number, the watch has arrived in the UK 10 days ago and I haven't heard anything since. Is that normal? Do I not get a new tracking number when the parcel is shipped from UK? I'm not worried, just curious if anyone had the same experience and I'd like to know how long it took after arrival in the UK. Mate, no one who is not a watch nut and also familiar with the rep fora will notice the crown line difference. Personally I never try to pass my reps off as gens, but I guess you wouldn't have a problem with an AP ROO sec@12. They're pretty good reps!

Interesting indeed! I was always wondering about the prices of those VDB builds. I mean, they're reps after all and there are guys who spend thousands... I don't get it.
