So I wake up this morning and get ready to head out..
I open my watch box to retrieve my new PAM203 only to discover....
That's right.. the crystal was split in half..
I figure when it was manufactured the crystal was pressed into the watch case too hard and it has cracked under the pressure..
There's still a ring of sapphire in the bezel hole on the watch..
Has anyone else had this happen before?
I have contacted my dealer to see what they can do for me..
It's a shame.. I was planning on wearing it today

Thanks to this forum and some digging I came across this page
http://www.citizen.co.jp/miyota_mvt/downlo..._OS20_multi.pdf
I have a PO Chronograph and the second hand wouldn't return to midnight when I reset it.
It turns out with miyota movements apparently you just have to pull the crown out to the time set position
and then push the chrono start pusher a few times to get the hand to line up.
Bonus!

Hi, I purchased a very nice PAM with Asian 7750 a month ago. A watch is running just fine.
I'm only a little bit concerned with it's power reserve. I normally wear a watch Mondy to Friday, 8-18. I found out that I must wind it manually on Monday morning quite a lot (100 pushes up) to reach the end of the week without stopping. Even so, a watch would sometimes stop one night before the end of a week. In all cases it would stop over weekend. If I would not wind a watch manually on Monday morning and only wear it during the day, It would stop during the night, same day.
Is it normal that replicas have a such weak power reserve?
Do I have to wind it more? 100 pushes is maybe only 30 turns of the crown?
Thanks.
If you indeed have the 7750 movement in it, it's automatic. It should wind on your wrist as you wear it.. I've seen most of my auto reps have a power reserve somewhere around 40 hours.. so.. it should keep running through the weekend after wearing it on friday.. and it shouldn't stop at all during the week.. maybe something is wrong with your auto-winding-assemby... ? once it stops can you get it going just by moving it around a bunch? if not.. probably wanna have it looked at by a watchsmith..

Hehe, that's how I went home from work today.. with both watches on.. and three in the bag..
(I received several more I just haven't photographed them yet..)
I love the panerai... I just wish they made an 'oversized' version.. something like 52mm
The 47 fits my wrist beautifully.. though..
I know it's the oversized version.. what I mean is I want an OVER Oversized version
so then, anyone know of any watches that are greater than 47mm?
I want custom freakshow pams that are 52mm..

LOL, it is obvious which one is getting wrist time.
Enjoy your new watches!
Perhaps try the YM on the right wrist while you wait for a slot to open on the left?

7750b1, is there a big difference from the regular 7750?
Read The Zigmeister's teardown of the new movement...
http://www.replicawatchreport.com/articles...e-eta-7750.html
It's better than the 7750 for reliability supposedly and it's beat is faster...

RE: the watch on the bottom left, It is indeed the timex perpetual day/date.
RE: the mickey mouse watch, It was my grandfather's watch. It's an 18k gold case and the movement is swiss hand wind. Other than that I can tell you it ticks really loud and sounds very cool.
RE: the box itself, I got it off of a guy named Andrew on ebay (his user ID is AceTimer). His store is at http://stores.ebay.ca/AceTimer Shipping was pretty darn fast, 7 days in total. Took more time clearing canada customs than it did in transit. The finish on the box is great, the interior is some kind of pleather.. It feels really nice, the pillows of course are removable.. I keep all my spare links in the little storage dealy on the lid.
