I think having it serviced at a repair shop would present 2 problems. One being the cost, probably $100. I could buy a new one for about $280. The other being it's not a real Yachtmaster, they might not like to repair clones.
I was looking for a quick drop in replacement on the cheap since this is really a watch that is worn.
Hey guys I need some help. I have a 5 year old Yachtmaster that will not run reliably. I wear this about 3 times a week and have it on the winder when not on the wrist. Now it will not run. I took the back off and it is a 2836-2 movement. Do you think it can be fixed cheaply? Would it be worth it? should I buy a new one? I'd really like to hear some opinions.
