i overbleached an insert and was wondering where i can get a replacement..its the vintage red triangle style...thanks

beautiful watch and beautiful work......id love to see one with center seconds...like a mini b-uhr ...poljot made one but it had that pesky date window.....anyways, verrrrrrry nice

i bought a couple of them..i like them...this one is from silix and ive been punishing the insert with bleach ..aging the lume and dial with water colours and tea ..i have the yao hands to attach ... ive been obscuring the issue markings alternating abrasives then polish..and roughing up the case with a coffee can full of screws and bolts..not a perfect watch by far but who cares..i live in the woods and no ones gonna see it anyway

seller also states that insurance is included in his shipping and handling charges

tell the seller to reinvoice you with the shipping costs in the listing ..he must have made a mistake....ebay frowns on excessive shipping charges (its called fee avoidance)...plus now sellers cant leave negative feedback ...you are in the proverbial catbird seat....priority shipping with delivery confirmation is around 5 dollars.....kin tama

i was curious about the caseback markings on 5517 reps ..i have 2 eta 5517 watches ..i was looking at other 5517 reps online for sale and noticed that they had the 5517 stamp on the lower left lug. neither of mine have that stamp..do the gens have that same stamp?......as usual im stumped and wayyy behind on the learning curve....kin tama

that is indeed great news..thank you for taking the time to post the photo..i love the superdome look ..its very utilitarian which suits the watch (im assuming your watches are like my silix version)..i ordered a tropic 19 from helfland and i contacted clark who says the superdomes should be ready in about 30 days....now to figure out how to make the "circle t " fatter .....have a great weekend,

thank you for the reply ...it is a silix 5517 with the eta movement ...i was hoping to put a more domed crystal on it ..has anyone else modded this particular watch..im guessing the other mod threads regarding this rep are mbws ...i have ordered a set of hands from bill yao...perhaps that will help things a bit.....sincerely,
