  1. Thank all of you for this great and fast help!!!! best guys EVER!!! Will try later, as the sun is high right now. enjoying the summer ;-)
  2. Sorry I forgot, I use dial dots too.
  3. Ok thank you, this whole stuff scares me, but I will try...
  4. I think aluminium foil is also ok, but with a liquid protection film you can work better IMHO OPPS, a bit late... Nice dial!!!
  5. Hi guys! I was just fooling around with my yuki as I finally found the time to switch my white datewheel overlay to a nice silver one from andy. but doing this the whole datewheel came of my 2824-2 and I can
  6. Best go with vanilla, but strawberry is also good. And obviously don't use peach, but I guess you allready know this.
  7. I used joghurt as a protection film, no joke ;-)
  8. Just one more thing: If You planing to just use a bit of iodine on a Yuki dial, be very carefull as the lume-ink will distruct when getting wet ( it is like pressed sand and when it gets wet it distructs, I hope you understand what I am trying to say..). So be prepaired to relume with Revell nightcolor and iodine in that case...
  9. +1 on the iodine, it makes a nice patina. But than again: I have a yelllow yuki and the color is really nice, but now As I have another white yuki dial on another watch I wish I had taken the white Index for the first Watch too.
  10. Right it is for the 1680, still not using your spacer because of that, it is a shame :-( So do you Know where to get a H.4.? Thanks to all!!
  11. Hi! Fooling around with my yuki Today, I tried to fit a spacer in (again) but with fitted spacer the thingi in the middle which holds the hour hand is too Short :-(( and so I have to unmount the spacer. Does anyone know which middle thingi ( hourwheel I guess) I need to have it long enough, and where to get it? I guess at Ofrei, but I can not find anything in this shop, it is very confusing...
  12. My first choise would be Narikaa aka Reg
  13. Narikaa aka Reg also sells MBW watches, just drop him a PM , his shop is in the sales section...
  14. Thank you, now I am thinking of getting myself the Yuki 7206 band for perfection ;-)
  15. Hi! A couple of months ago I received my MBW 1680 Red from Reg (nices deal EVER!!!) but after a while I decided to build my self a Yuki 1680 franken So I had this MBW 1680 lying around with no wristtime, as the Yuki one was clearly a lot more accurate. Then I saw this pic: and fall for it. Ordered a (at this time) custommade 5512 with white markers, which was found by customs and I never received it. So Yuki made me a nice deal and I ordered a new one, which I received today. Nothing on my list I started to do the mod immidatly. changed the crystal with a nice clark 19 crystal (needed a LOT of pressure, but then it worked fine) And changed the dial. The cool thing was that my MBW was a new version so the 26mm Yuki dial perfectly fitted in there. ( for the record: New MBW 1680 Red dial is 26mm not 26.5mm as gen) So here is the result. Still need to do a bit of a case job, but not today. need to do homework to see what have to be changed, because at the moment I don´t see the difference. Enjoy: The thing I want to say with this thread is, as this was discussed a lot before: Yuki 1680 dial will not fit in a new MBW Case but 5512 dial fits like a clove...Also, if you got balls, you can fit a 19 crystal on a MBW 1680 case And I also wanted to prove that I am just unable to make nice pics :-(
  16. Yes but as I made the whole watch by myself I don
  17. btw: HAU means: Herren Armbamd Uhr (mens wrist watch) and ROP : Rolex Oyster Precision ;-)
  18. I saw the lume but I don't like the mountains of lume on the dial. So I would prefer to go with less lume and the original heights of the dots...
  19. Thanks guys, so I will tell that this one is a keeper, but not a wearer ;-)
