  1. Hi just joined the forum and would like a Tag F1 watch. I am overwhelmed by number of dealers who sell these watches. So my question is - how do I contact the people who you bought these watches from? Thanks Brian

Hey Brian, welcome...here's the link to the forum's trusted dealers..

    http://www.rwgforum.com/index.php?app=links&module=links&section=categories&do=view&cid=3

I usually get my watches from other dealers from RWG's sister sites, but these guys are good as well.

  2. Im in the same boat. I have an older white dial exp II and I wanted to replace the case, bezel and crystal. the dial I have is very good. it has the correct black markers and lume is above average than most reps. I contacted this ebay seller and is willing to sell just the case for $45 shipped... good enough or a bit expensive? http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320544000286&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

My expII is only a 2813.

  3. Sometimes if pays more when dealing with "smaller" dealers. I bought a bunch from Andrew (great service) until I tried a new one, Mary of Watch International. I think with smaller dealers, they QA the watches more thoroughly since they have more time compared to big time sellers. With bigger sellers, they just trust their contacts in the factories and thats it. Of course, just my speculations.

  4. The midsize is still a very masculine looking watch. I went to Rafael Jewelers and one of their personnel was wearing one. She was a decent looking lady, but the watch seemed to detract from her appearance. On the other hand, I met a lady advertising one of the California casinos.. thunder valley or something, been too long to remember.. and she was wearing an Explorer I. That watch actually looked decent on her and there are some very nice examples of that watch floating around the dealers on these boards.

Personally I think there's more fashionable watch brands for women than Rolex though.

I completely agree with you. I'm the one who wants my wife to get a Rolex. She actually wants a Cartier Chrono Must 21, but can't find one in the trusted dealers websites. I just thought she should also have a Rolex since I have one...

  5. LOL...I actually have a yachtmaster, but not with the Rolesium dial and she finds it too big for her wrist while a normal ladies watch with <30mm is too small. So I guess the midsize would be perfect! Also, how's the quality of the midsize YM reps? I know for the full size, BK is one of (if not) the best reps out there, but I don't think he has mid sizes. Any advise from owners??? Thanks.

  6. You have taken out 4 links and it still doesn't fit?!? Blimey!!

Erm, I could trade you for a nice racer strap, perforated leather with red stitch or I have the F1 rubber strap with tang buckle.

    Sixx :bones:

Yeah...One more link removed and it would have been a perfect fit. Probably the factories are now putting a longer SS bracelet since people complained more when the bracelet is shorter... will the rubber strap fit? Not sure if mine has a 20mm strap. Im in Canada btw.

  7. Hi, I've been searching over the forums, google and even asking dealers on what are the significant differences between 21J, Asian ETA and a Swiss ETA. I've been told that the watch itself (i.e. Rolex Submariner) are the same (bracelet, bezel, etc.) and the only difference is the movement. Is this fairly accurate? And, is the Swiss ETA really worth it? Hopefully someone with first hand info can help me out. Thanks.
