  1. Hi there! Now it's been about 3-4 months since I got my Tag Heuer Carrera Chrono Black, picture: http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/4067/p1010275q.jpg I bought it from Joshua, Perfect Clones. I'm pretty happy with it but I have some questions. First off, quite annoying, if I am right the crown is a screw down, like you can tighten it to make it water-proof, this works, but it's very hard to get the threads to take. Most often it's just spinning around, but if i try long enough I can get it stuck. Is it possible to change the crown on your own to fix this? Or where's the problem? On the site it says it's a screw down crown: http://www.1-pc8838.com/tg10054-carrera-automatic-chronograph-black-a7750-28800bph-p-2521.html Problem number two is the strap, the hole for the clasp is a little wide, so only one of the "hooks" holds the clasp together, it works but I think it might get loose on the other side too. Anything I can do about it? The third thing I noticed is that the 12 o'clock chrono sometimes jumps off its position, it moves a millimeter to the right, and I have to start the chrono and then reset it to get it in the right position, this happens almost every day :/ Nothing I can do i guess? And the last thing, the winding isn't very good, the powerreserve is not as good as I thought. If I leave it overnight it has most often stopped at about 6.00-7.00 What do you think I can fix by myself? I really don't want to send it back, the risk with customs in Sweden is quite big
  2. Hi everyone! I received my Tag Heuer Carrera with A7750 movement a few weeks ago from Joshua at Perfect Clones. Ever since then the rotor has been kinda loud. The "free-spinning" direction, that doesn't wind is quite loud. And I can feel the rotor moving on my arm. Except that, the clock works fine. But can I do something about it myself (not experienced in working with watches). Or is there any Swedish watchmaker that performs service on Asian 7750 here in Sweden? Would love if some swede on this forum could answer this. And if there is one in Gothenburg, that would be even better! Thanks in advance!
  3. Have been using my new Tag Heuer Carrera Chrono for a week now, bought it from Perfect Clones. Almost everything is perfect. The rotor spins very quickly in one direction (the one it doesn't wind the clock with). When spinning in this direction (counter clockwise) it's a bit noisy, and its almost as you can feel it's not well lubricated. What can I do? Should I care? Why is it possible for the rotor to spin in this direction? I mean, it doesn't wind when spinning that way. Another thing, is there threads on the crown, because when I screw it in, it come loose after a while. Sorry for my bad english here, hard to use the right grammar with words you usually don't use. Thanks!
  4. Just received this beauty in the mail today, one week after i ordered it! I'm really satisfied, Joshua from Perfect Clones (www.perfect-hour.com) has been fantastic, everything has went smooth, the clock is superb, and working really well. Just watch this pictures below, looks pretty nice right? I noticed something, the thing that's holding the bearing on the rotor, looks exactly like the original one, not with the "gears", it's like the original. And it also got the adjustment-screw. Really great! EDIT: I know it's not got AR, the original doesnt have that, and really, I don't mind at all!

  6. Hi! I'm fairly new to the forums. Been reading a lot lately, and I just ordered myself a Tag Heuer Carrera Chrono Black CV2010 from Joshua (Perfect Clones). Still waiting for it to arrive, so excited! Something I'm searching for is a watch winder, the cheapest possible, but not ugly as hell! First thought was, how hard can it be to build one yourself? But then again, I don't want something that ugly Here's what I found: 1. Cheapest/ugly 2. Okey price and looks (plastic ) 3. Best looking/most expensive Do you guys know anywhere else where I can find cheap watch winders? Or some DIY-guide? Please reply
  7. You don't have to find that tutorial, I think I found one, too complicated for me Exciting that I get a new 7750 with working regulator then, glad you like the design, I really love it. Hope it looks as good IRL.
  8. Toadtorrent, thanks for the reply. Look here: http://www.perfect-hour.com/tg10054-carrera-automatic-chronograph-black-a7750-28800bph-p-2521.html That's where I bought it and it says its got a functional regulator? Yeah the rotor isnt the latest model, but it looks nice anyway. I don't care about the datewheel, how do you change that by the way?
  9. Update: Ordered the watch from Perfect Clones right now! Can't wait to see it! EDIT: When I recieve it, was is there to think about, should i shake it for a while to get the rotor moving and charging? And what about setting time and date, heard that the date should not be set during a timeperiod on the 7750? Any tips are welcome!
  10. Oh! Thanks alot for all the replies, keep 'em coming! I have dropped the Speedy-idea, that's a later purchase, I have decided for the Carrera. Really like the design, it's not too much, and it's really pretty! I heard there were no AR on the Carrera, but there isn't on the real one either. For me it doesn't matter, I have no clue how a clock with or without AR looks I'll survive without it, won't I? Is there some service I could do by myself, or is it only for professionals? If you guys got pictures of this Carrera, black dial i would love to see them! Thanks once again! EDIT: Maybe I'm blind but I can't seem to find Perfect Clones site? I don't want to google, too many scam sites!
  11. Hi all! I'm completely new to this replica-watch-thing But I have been studying this and other forums for a while now. My first thought was the Omega Speedmaster clock, but the movement wasn't the best from what I heard, and also I do like the design on this Tag Heuer watch more. As this is my first rep, and my first real clock ever I would love to hear some advice. From what I know the movement is A.7750 Valjoux Automatic, 28800bph. And after searching for that I read mostly good things, but some bad. So is this movement something that will last for a long time (I know there is no guarantee)? It's a "everyday" use clock i am looking for. And what about the chrono, it's working properly? I heard that you shouldn't play with it too much, cause it hurts the gear, is this really true? So should I not use it at all? What service can I do to keep it working for a long time? Lubricate it or something? Other than this, is this a good rep? I'm no clock expert, so if it's the wrong font or something, I won't notice, and i'm sure there ain't many who will. How's the steelstrap? At last, I think i will buy it from Precious Time, because I heard good things about them, and they ship from Europe (so no customs). Please help a newbie out, I will really appreciate it!
