  1. There are some good quality ones on ebay; ones made with high-quality steel. Otherwise, I am not too sure what qualifies as "crap" quality. I think watcheden sells them, as does this UK website whose name slips my mind.
  2. Ebay...why do you ask? I'd obviously prefer the gen springbars, but do not know where to get them...
  3. Well, where I heard 1.2 for bracelet from, I heard 1.5 for leather, so maybe I should go with that...
  4. I had a question about the spring-bars for a gen IWC 3717 watch (or case, at least). I know the length has to be 21mm, but how about the diameter? I've heard 1.5 for leather and 1.2 for bracelet...
  5. No, I get that. I am not saying the watch will get completely destroyed. I am just wondering if it might affect the watch negatively. The only watch I've bought from overseas had an A7750 movement and came with the hacking mechanism activated.
  6. No doubt an incredibly silly question, but is it safe to fly with a rep watch? Will the pressure change be bad for the watch parts? I know that genuine movements are safe; my issue is with Asian-made movements...
  7. I have a few watches with swiss and asian 7750 movements in them...the only watch winder I have is a bidirectional winder with my rolex on it (needs to be bidirectional). Is there any harm in putting the 7550 watches in the bidirectional winder? Or is the only issue that they might not become fully wound?
  8. Thanks for all the help...just wondering, what is a fair price for a good clean, oil, and regulate? I have gotten quotes from 49 dollars to 250...
  9. I need to get the movement cleaned; it has not even been a year!
  10. So I have had this replica DSSD for a year. A week or two ago, the watch hands stopped; I wound the watch and had to shake it very vigorously (much more than usual) to get the hands to start ticking again. Today, this happened again. The second hand no longer ticks (and the minute/hour hands do not move). I have wound the watch but still the hands do not move; very forceful shaking does not accomplish anything... Anyone have an idea what my problem is? Thanks!
  11. Thanks for the help it still clicks pretty smoothly counterclockwise and just kind if rotates with a little resistance clockwise...
  12. Anybody? I'm not sure how the bezel became bidirectional; what was preventing it from rotating in two directions in the first place?
  13. The bezel on my replica DSSD rolex went from being unidirectional to bidirectional. The person handling thought it was supposed to go both ways and just forced it the other way. What are the mechanics of it and what can I do to fix it. Help!
  14. Thanks for the link. Contaced them but clone does not look right... Probably should add Ill take any insert that fits a 43mm case...
  15. Bump. Can none of the many replica-sellers on these forums help me?
  16. I am looking for the bezel insert for this particular model/replica. I want one that doesn't require blue but can snap in. I have found plently of inserts for the 40mm version. I have found no 43 mm inserts for the SD as well as no 43 mm inserts that have the new style where every minute is marked on the insert hands...
