My dear friend, It seems you have some fears or "cries of help" with regards to sourcing a reputable rep. To be really honest, until you do make your first purchase from DSN, you will never know. It would be pointless to scrutinise DSN for his flaws, when practically it IS a few hundred dollar investment. I guess we have countless more flaws ourselves than his rep's. And this not knowing will keep you coming here and asking those same questions over and over again. -It would be more prudent to understand that at less than 8% of the cost of buying a genuine piece and realising a mistake. -DSN pieces are value for money and very inepensive. -Options are available for you to play around with once you actually have bought a watch from DSN. -You can always resell on RWG and any rep forum if you feel it is not for you. But' until you actually take the first-step into making your first purchase here, needleess to say all of us here are nowhere to begin with. So after all the posts and replies, the real question here is; "Are you a player or a spectator?" Cheers

Thank you all friends. Very, very insightful....i never realised Gerald Genta!! Haha Abit about the overhaul i did; When i got the watch, obviously it wasnt in this state. The plastic cystal was cracked and movement not working. Then i brought it to an expert and he had these things done; -Gen sapphire replaced -Case and bracelet repolished to AP specs -Crown replaced with a gen AP crown -Sandblasting of the case back -Movement overhauled -All seals and gaskets replaced. Overhaul cost; 900 euro's Entire 21 links in place and fit perfect still. Cheers

Thanks alot friends!!! The watch measures 36 mm and runs on a old brass eta 2892 17 jewel movement. I must say it is identical to the royal oak released in the 80's. Qn: Would this acutally qualify as a Genuine Rep? "laughs"

I think this watch dates to 70's era.I need some help with information on this AP Royal Oak lookalike as i can't seem to find it anywhere on the web. I bought the watch a year ago from fellow's and son's auction house and had it totally refurbished by Bonfield in Singapore. Any insight on this watch would be a great help to a newbie like me. The finish on the movement is really bad. Likely a china copy of eta. The strap and buckle as well. Does look like a 400 dollar watch. Cartier movements are very well finished. I hope this helps, cheers.

I had a local guy do the case for tantalum, the back however is from DSN. Watch comes with these details; Swiss 6497 movt Corrected flushed canon pinion Relumed dial with superluminova Correct AR sapphire crystal on front,sapphire on back Corrected crown guard with thick crown Watch is 95% near genuine.

I Want One,Count me in PLease.
