Disapointing to see the "behind scene" of the Fiddy dial... Ok its a sandwich dial so nobody will remove it... But still, so poor finish for a masterpiece watch...
-
Yup, looks good for me as well!
-
General view of the combo :
With OEM gator and dep buckle, IMO its speechless.
-
Pic of the strap mounted on the watch requested
Im curious about the general aspect
-
Certainly bright mate.
Did you do that lume yourself?
Hijack did it
-
Gen? or relume?
Relume, you can find the full specs of the torch in this topic:
I put on it an OEM gator strap + OEM deployant buckle. The combo is spellbinding.
I think I'm in love...

One more shot:

Luminor suits well this watch, albeit I think "The Torch" can be a more appropriate nickname:

An outstanding review indeed, very helpfull regarding my understanding of the movement.
It answers my concerns, thanks.

Here is mine

I love baseball glove leather strap

The strap, also, makes the difference Awsome combo!
Congratulation!
Can you take pic of the lever?
As far as I saw here and there, it's the lever which makes me not pull the trigger.
But if as you said, it's great out of the box, I will try King for sure.

I will see how it goes with this Asian movement, but I think I will in a near future swap the Asian movemen again a Swiss one. Im working in risk management, so I prefer to be proactive to avoid any problem.
When you read what happens with this Asian 7750 full of dirts of hairs and so on... It's the better decision to make.
Of course I'm not talking about Seagull movement but about the Asian we have in our reps out of the factory.

ABP are great indeed. Expensive, but it worth the price: tailor made, state of the art, unlimited choice of colors and of cutstomisation.
French art, that's it.
I went there for a PO, they made for me black seal with orange sitching...

Alex the asian unitas if propperly serviced is every bit as good as the swiss, the asian is also the higher beat at 21600 sam as pams as opposed to the 6497/1 that is 18800, unless you can get 6497/2 at around €100 and if so pleas lell me where
My only concern is the reliability which lies on the cliché that swiss movement are better than asian one.
Here and there I see topics poping up with reliability issues on asian movement.
But may be I'm wrong with this old belief!
Nevertheless, you raise a good point by talking about servicing. In your opinion, which frequency is appropriate for an Asian 6497?
-
Thanks Wolf and kornblomst. I see your point.
Indeed, regarding the low cost of a swiss eta 6497, its better to swap the asian against the swiss one.
Now, just need to see who can do it on my watch, here in EU.

Hi all, I have a question regarding the reliability of this movement.
Indeed, my watch is so beautiful I want to wear it everyday but the fact that's a asian movement inside worries me...
I wonder, are the Asian 6497 reliable? Can we wear the watch with Asian 6497 every day?
And I would like to know the frequency for servicing the watch?
We can find Swiss ETA 6497 for 100

If you have the budget, the only advice I can give you is to purchase an OEM Alligator strap. Ok, thats expensive (in EU its 250
-
Are all reps?
-
We would need a tutorial "how to make its own strap"
Would be great!
-
Pfff what a beauty!
-
Gorgeous!
-
What i hide on the pics is the url of the seller
But I think too, that the watch is too expensive.
