Any1 know, how much original crystal for PO, or generic sapphire with good AR coating costs? Does it fit with the replica case (42.5mm)?
I ask myself the same question.
The main flaw for me is the AR coating of the rep glass.
I would like to made some upgrade on my PO instead of buying another watch (pan ou iwc or rol).
So for me, the upgrade I think I have to do is :
-AR coating or buy a sapphire with AR which fits my 42.5 po
- gen dial & hands
Do u know who can do this in EU ?

Rep : Pam111 & Omega PO
The watch I want to buy :
Gen : One panerai ! But not now ! I'm dreaming of the Submersible !
Rep : A rolex, i dont know wich model i want, i love the GMT Master II but I read it doesn't exist good rep of it.
So, it will be a vintage sub or explorer II.

Apart from movies like 007 were watches are prominent do you think watches are selected by the director or just chosen by the actors (as long as it fits with the character)? Would a director choose a rep on purpose?
I surprised to see some actors sporting reps.
I wonder why Rolex hasn't sued them already.
Maybe that's because they do free publicity for the brand, most people (incl. myself) being unable to distinguish it from a gen... Or because they may do business with that actor one day...
It's Tarantino who choose to put a replica in his movie "Kill Bill", why ? I don't know
