  1. Agree with Andy, the 3717 rep bracelet is of excellent quality considering that it's just a rep. I have compared it to the gen bracelet and it's silly how much IWC charge for the gen when their replutable counterparts in China did the same for much much less. The only thing you will need are two toothpicks to add/subtract links. You push the button on the flat inside of the link and push out the pin. It gets fiddly, but be cool, calm and patient and you will be just fine
  2. that does look pretty sweet. What is the case size?
  3. will it be for sale? joking, enjoy the build
  4. and the strap is also gorgeous!
  5. Haha, I do end up in Liverpool Street from time to time But don't be afraid of wearing a nato strap with a suit. I actually wore my IWC XVI on a green nato with a suit the other. Then again, I did that because I intended to go gyming just after work

    Pam 03

    Sehr sehr sexy
  7. Would have loved to see adults there doing the usual e-crying which is just astonishing. But you're right, people here will answer with an open mind. I totally get you, I have definitely seen Pams much more and with the advent of a new rep accuracy era for Pams, you will see a whole lot more probably . But I think it really depends where you are based.
  8. BTW, I am just wondering what would have happened to this thead had it been posted on Risti
  9. I guess it depends whereabouts in central. I'm near the Bank Of England and here couple of folks wear Pams. But you're right, SMPs and the Subs are the most common watches here.
  10. Mate, perhaps I am completely wrong here, but I think this is a rep. The bezel does not look real and the dial print is a bit off imo. The case back looks like my rep Slevin and if the last three digits of the case number end as "..388" it matches the serial on my rep as well. Fishy.
  11. quite a few in London too, but I still see Rolex Subs the most.
  12. I think it looks perfect on either bracelet or strap. I mean look at the detail of the kevlaar and how it matches the dial... pure awesomeness
  13. John, surely there is no price for two links. I will sent them for free, just pm me your address. and btw, the Slevin is so much fun to wear!!
  14. Likewise Buddy, I have 2 on me that I don't need. Let me know if that is sufficient.
  15. Hi Everyone, I am having a major AT craze right now, they are awesome beyond belief. I have the privilege to own two special pieces, a full gen 3548-07 and a Franken 3719 aka Slevin. The Slevin has a gorgeous gen dial and hopefully in the near future I will implant a gen movement into it too. For now let me show you the pics (no pro pics): And here with my Conceptualised GenFranken IWC XVI Spitfire Hope you enjoyed!
  16. Dude, that watch looks so good.
  17. Mate, the problem with Panerai is the choice of straps. Do yourself a favour and simply slowly buy them all (at least the ones you like of course)
  18. That's definitely news to me. Thanks very much. Imagine what else they don't tell us
  19. wow sander, that is amazing! well done for putting this together and your wife is very lucky!
  20. Haha Dave, that's an awesome pic.. here is mine, my new triple time zone watch
  21. Strap 3 is the one I actually put on for the moment Pete. It is stamped W&W and has something like a Moose or a Cow stamped underneath the letters... no idea what company that is. Sure is a good combo for this weekend!!! You're right, I was really lucky to get it today. I will certainly get it serviced soon, not sure to whom to send it though. I want to keep it EU and I hear Domi is swamped already.
  22. Hi Guys, There have already been a few reviews of this Pam and they have been very positive. I used to own a gen 000 and this rep oozes gen quality. The only annoying thing is the loudness of the movement ticking. My dilemma : Which strap, 1,2,3 or 4???
