  1. pm Concepta, he can do some variations of gen and non-gen pieces to suit your price range
  2. dark blue gator would be nice given the blueish ar tint and black dial. I would also try out the Kevlaar which has been so popular with the 3717
  3. Def Black, you can send me the brown one for my Spitfire But I must say that Brown would suit your perfectly
  4. Congrats Bro, you deserve it!! Now strap that bad boy and wear it well!!
  5. If you have a gen, you might as well sell it, buy this wunderep and use the rest to save up for an 8Day or something of that nature.
  6. It's funny how before the TopGun, people rarely even thought about putting the Kevlar Strap on, but now it's THE killer combo! Congrats on your order, I think PureTime may sell the strap and buckle separately?
  7. LOL that was funny. Thanks for showing the comparison as well
  8. As mentioned here are a few pics from my visit to the Royal Air Force Museum in London : My Spitfire on Green Nato (and Joerg, it's so comfy!!) sorry about the poor shot The Spitfire Thanks for looking!
  9. Hi Tessa and Metro, I understand your frustration but Concepta is not a store that is open 24/7. He will respond when he has time and WILL look after you. These projects are very long. You have to get the parts from the factory, send them to your watchmaker, get everything together, please incoming mails from customers, collate money, slowly ship out watches as they come in. Big process with a lot of work. It should reassure you that he does not take on a million projects at once, this would overheat his assembly line from A to Z. Chase him occasionally and he WILL get back.
  10. Thanks bro, if you were in London I'd let you wear it
  11. Thanks guys, it is indeed stunning. Can't stop wearing it, it's really comfortable and extremely versatile. Strap a brown or black croc on it and you're ready for the Oscars or try on a green nato, YES green nato, and be ready for another Battle of Britain. I will take some pics of it with various straps over the weekend. I may even pop down to a local museum which has a Spitfire on display and I will try and do a wristshot with the plane in the background.
  12. Hi All, I have been waiting for a rep of this beauty for a while but the factories never came with the right goods. When Concepta offered the genenstein, I got real excited and went for it. Patience is key and when you master patience, the following happens : Here next to my gen AT Sorry about the poor pics, I didn't have time for the lighting etc. Hope you enjoyed the pics!!
  13. Beautiful watch!!!! I can't wait to post my pics of the Spitfire dial tonight!!
  14. Stunning watch! It really is one of the most versatile and strong built watches in history. No overstatement at all. Be it gen or rep, this is such a keeper. I regret selling mine, had a few but always ran into difficulties at the time so had to let them go. I am now thinking about one again Congrats and wear this beauty in good health
  15. Any news geestyleed ? Have you wound up the watch the other direction? Hope all works now.
  16. Maybe this person could source some other rep parts that may be hard to get
  17. You're right Buddy, this place has awesome pieces because we have some amazing modders here and members with insance creativity and guts that love "making special things happen". What I also like about this forum is that it is very bright, clear and easy to use. Enjoy!
  18. You mean gen 3714 Probus crowns?
  19. Yep, especially as I love the all black dial, I am waiting for Concepta to confirm stock of the Probus crowns as they will be the most accurate for this model. Concepta, surely you can source the gen case, crown/pushers and crystal? Imagine an all gen 3714 franken
  20. What a beautiful beautiful watch! Really stunning!

If they don't come with spring bars, just pop into a local watch repair shop and ask for bars suited for 20mm lugs. They dont cost much at all and they work just fine. The gen ones just add a premium but look very sturdy. More important is the strap that you get
