  1. That's my new old stock Eddie Lee Fiddy, front load movement with the best and very rare 0581/1500 serial number case back with sapphire, accurate CG lever shape as GEN, It never do any mod process. I know just do some mods and put in GEN G series movement It will be the super franken Fiddy.

  2. Strap seller posted 2 old school Dirk straps on Risti but seller can't make sure these 2 straps are the 1st Gen Dirk or not, Mr. Dirk reply and help to approve straps are all the 1st Gen Dirk...

    Original thread,

Too many fake 1st Gen Dirk straps in market, only a few strap expert who can identify them for sure.....:D

  3. Rep manufacturer made lot of model HBB but no one is almost accurate...

They don't as Rolex's 116660, Panerai's PAM236, AP ROO, Breitlin, Graham...as lot of out of box accurate rep out there.

Why don't rep factory seriously make a perfect and accurate HBB rep to solve those distinct flaws on current model.

Not every one wants to pay more cost for rep modification.

We expected the new HBB V5, but I don't think there's any big surprise for those new model, cuz there're many minor detail specs on Gen HBB is always change in couple months.

  4. Again! the flaws of DSN PAM360 highlights,

    1. "Luminor Panerai" texts on dial too thin

    2. "6" "9" fonts are wrong

    3. Hands are wrong it should be Pre-V hands likes FDG made

    4. CG lever is wrong it should be new type of PAM CG lever with roller likes PAM236 A7753's CG lever

    5. PVD case too mat it should be more shiner and smoother

    6. Case back is "sucks"... :pardon:

  5. Flaws of DSN PAM360 highlights,

    1. "Luminor Panerai" texts on dial too thin

    2. "6" "9" fonts are wrong

    3. Hands are wrong it should be Pre-V hands likes FDG made

    4. CG lever is wrong it should be new type of PAM CG lever with roller likes PAM236 A7753's CG lever

    5. PVD case too mat it should be more shiner and smoother

    6. Case back is "terrible"... :pardon:

  6. I'm going to order an AP ROO rep recently but when I saw some models came with flaw especial

Ruben Barrichello's dial and forged carbon case (Bumble Bee)...So I was thinking how to solve

and mod above flaws with lowest effort before slept these nights. Finally I got some solutions

and would like to share to bros in forum,

Solution 1 Mod ROO PVD case with forged carbon effect,

Gen ROO with forged carbon case

    AP%20ROO%20BB%20GEN.jpg

Rep ROO with flaw of all black PVD case without forged carbon texture

    AP%20ROO%20BB%20REP.jpg

There're some ROO rep come with PVD as forged carbon case for example ROO Bumble Bee, the gen

should be brused ceramic bezel and forged carbon case but rep is all black PVD case. It's a

big flaw on rep. To solve and mod this flaw I have asked my Gundam model and helmat artworks

. They can use a special painting for metal and grilled it to make forged carbon effect on PVD

case. It's same way to make a Tank model with camouflage effect. The PVD case after painted and

grilled, forged carbon effect will be long lasting and never fall off in regular worn.

Solution 2 Mod ROO RB sec@12 dial on easy way,

    AP%20ROO%20RB%20GEN1.JPG

ROO RB sec@12 was one of most accurate rep but flaw on dial , it's a pity for this model. We

know "sander" bro modded an ROO RB sec@12 dial with 0.2mm thin metal plate and drilled many holes

to match those positions of screw, jewel, central gear, date window...and made Côtes de Genève.

    http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/104326-modded-rbii-dial-with-cotes-de-geneve-finish/

Sorry "sander" bro, it's too diffcult and lot of effort for us and watch modder, but I got ideals

to mod ROO RB sec@12 dial on easy way for your reference.

    1. Ask artworks draw screws, central gear and Côtes de Genève on plate under dial. May be some bro

think this ideal also pay effort and cost. but it's more easy way to mod the dial.

    2. Capture a pic from gen ROO RB movt, if you couldn't find it that's not a big problem. To capture

an high resolution gen ROO RB front pic, use Photoshop or other photo editing apps to make an

1:1 size of gen movt front pic, it's not diffcult...just remove, copy path and regulate color.

When you finished gen movt front pic send it to photo center to make stickers remove holes of

jewel, central gear and date window, past sticker on the plate under dial and you finished mod ROO

RB sec@12 dial with screws, central gear and Côtes de Genève same as gen on very easy way....:cowboy:

  7. The shape of LH CG is much fitted A series especial for 5218-20XA project because it thick enough and round enough, but some DSN case and CG are also pretty good. But when I saw a cost USD180 CG's back side the CG pin wasn't long enough so you saw an hole on back of CG. It's not worth USD180 just for a only good shape CG...I rather buy a mint gen OEM JV gator or Kevin/BigB ammo strap.

  8. 1. Crown needs to change another version that get closer to case

    2. CG lever is wrong and needs to mod the crown pusher as round shape, you can cut a little bit of CG to case side that CG will be shorter and than mod lever and crown pusher

    3. CG pin needs to flat and polish

    3. Canon pinion fix and polish

    4. Your Fiddy case back and movt looks pretty good but bridges and gears process plated platinum, brass gears plated gold that will be much close to gen

    5. Change dial or rewrite texts on dial that texts color should be heavier and brighter

Above 5 points of mod for your reference

  9. It's Gen

    1. The back of CG pin there's no rep processed that's good

    2. Some angle you see the dial is curved because gen crystal's AR, if rep any angle you see the dial is flat

    3. Case back the "PANERAI" engraved on bridge there's no rep processed that's good

    4. Why did seller waste lot of time to make a cheap but 100% perfect rep almost like gen PAM to cheat you
