  1. Jonny comes home from school early on hearing a noise upstairs goes up and sees his mum on top of his dad.

He closes the door and goes back down stairs.

His mother on hearing the door close jumps from the bed gets dressed and rushes downstairs.

She asks Jonny if everything is okay.

To which he replies yes but what were you doing to dad.

Well you know your dad has got a fat tummy I was bouncing up and down to flatten it.

Jonny replies you are wasting your time, when you go out the lady next door comes in and blows it up again......

Have a great week all :inverted:

Hahaha some great jokes there :)

  2. Entirely possible, but not with the little baby engraving machine you showed.

YouTube 'Hublot factory' and see what the factories themselves use, to give you an idea.

When you have the machine, you need a gen case and Solidworks ($5K US) to draw a case with measurements you get using a vernier caliper. You'd need to deconstruct the entire watch.

Then you'd need a converter to machine code, then a converter to G-code, trust me, it's a pain in the ass.

  3. I thought from the picture that it was just a GMT function, but what they've integrated is a perpetual calendar as well, along with the bezel function selection, which is pretty smooth and very clever.

Love the idea, don't like the look or the execution. The fluted bezel has never done it for me.

A pic of the watch, for those too lazy to click on the link:

  4. I remember my first...like nothing else. but over 15 years have never found a #2 as good as that one.

kinda like chasing that first high.

I've found a lack a quality control too, lots of inconsistency in the packing of the fill, so you can get a slow burn over two hours long, or a 45 minute 'quickie'. Depends on the ambient temp too I suppose.

But my god they're delicious... :)
