  1. Malin+Goetz eucalyptus....probably the best non-alcoholic and without aluminum (no yellowing of the white shirts)...

That is indeed a great deodorant... but quite expensive!

A cheaper alternative for an aluminum free deodorant is Tom's of Maine. I've been using the Lemongrass scent, and it smells great!

  2. almost all the dealers can speak proper English . either the problem is in you or the dealer

Everything you just said is 100% accurate.

First sentence could've been substituted with "Some dealers' English is horrible" and it doesn't contradict your sentence.

Regarding the second sentence, take a wild guess who's problem is it.

If I read both sentences together: (a) almost all dealers speak proper ENglish + (B) either the problem is you or the dealer, then I'd have to assume you're insinuating the problem is me.

stfu if you don't have anything useful to say.

  3. Hello.

I've had some recent issues with my dealer. He has limited knowledge of the English language, and as a result there has been some serious miscommunication.

I plan on writing him an email about 2-3 paragraphs in length, and I want to make sure he fully understands what I'm saying.

Is there someone who could help me translate my email to Chinese? It won't take more than 10 minutes and I will pay via paypal for his efforts.

    Thanks in advance.

  4. Just wanting to let people know of the bad experiance I had with buying a complete Daytona case set from DW Watches. I only recieved the case set, dial and hands, missing the bridges, gaskets and band. Hands were bent, dial was smudged and the markers were all crooked. The crown did not screw into the case straight and the bezel was loose. It would not take that much more to have made this a quality case, instead it was marginal. I was told that the missing parts and replacements for the bad parts were on there way several times but I never recieved them and they would not give me a tracking number. I finally had to open a case with PayPal to finally get my money returned. They refused to sign for the returned parts or provide info to Paypal. I gave DW Watches every chance possible to resolve the issue and they choose to ignore me. I finally got a refund from Paypal but it took a Police report and a lot of trouble to get it. I do not recommend dealing with DW Watches based on my experiance. Thanks for listening, Larry

Did you ask for help here before filing a report? Doubt it since that was your first post.

While I'm not saying your story is a lie, I find it hard to believe since just recently DW sent me a damaged dial and he didn't hesitate to send me a new one, free of charge. He always answers his emails promptly, and provides tracking number for everything.

I have a feeling there are some details missing from your story.

  5. sell all of them and get a gen, or two. you wont reget, thats a good advice

reps look good but have zero value

I've always had an issue with this statement.

What do you mean by zero value? Stop by the watches 4 sale forum and you'll notice most watches get sold. Sure, you may lose some money considering how much you paid for the watches + the costs of mods. But isn't that par for the course with any watch sale, including gens (sans Rolex)?

Same argument could be made about gens. Why bother buying a gen when it'll depreciate as soon as you wear it, and you'll lose money if you decide to sell it?

Unless all rep forums are wiped from existence, then I think reps are far from having zero value.

    Just my 2¢.

  6. thanks, but the links don't work on the review page. do u recommend any straps mate?

On the review, anytime you see a "rwg.cc/members/index..." change it to "rwgforum.com/index..."

    before: rwg.cc/members/index

    after rwgforum.com/index

    Here's a good read.

Regarding straps, for the 5002 you will want a brown leather strap. For the 5004 you will want a black croc strap. Pretty sure that's how they came stock.

My strap is a leather custom made by hk tan, which took a couple of weeks to get here, but it's one of the best straps I own. There may be better, and there are definitely cheaper options out there. Do some research and get back to us on that. Search for "5002", "5004", "pilot", "faux" here on the forum and you should get plenty of info.

I've bought 3 of these watches (5002). Don't ask me why (my fault). Awesome watch. Chick magnet.

I get laid every time I wear it.

  7. First thing I'd suggest is to start wearing your watches the right way :)

Regarding the BP, it's a beautiful watch. The power indicator should be moved up only if you hang around people who know about watches (or if you're a perfectionist). No way you could pull off wearing a BP if you'll be wearing it on the back of your wrist. And you need at least a 7" wrist to wear this watch so that it doesn't look comical (IMHO).

Yes, you'll have to get a custom strap for it.

3717: one of the best out of the box reps out there. You can wear it with confidence without doing any mods. The day/date wheel thing is just for us anal folks.

I met someone at a hotel who had a 3717 with a croc strap. I told him "nice watch!". He said thanks, and when he saw I was wearing the same watch he said "I really like the bracelet look, and I'm thinking of getting one. Do you mind if I take a look?". I said sure, took off my watch and handed it to him. He examined it and said he would be getting one as soon as he got home. Didn't notice anything about the day/date wheel, AR, etc.

What I'm trying to say is that even a 3717 owner won't notice that this watch is a rep. It's that well done.

The ingy is a beautiful watch, but I tried looking for a SS bracelet about 6 months ago and was told that they're no longer made, so good luck with that.
